Saturn

Saturn was named after the Roman God of Farming. It is 887 million miles from the sun. It's diameter is about 75,000 miles, from one side of the ring to the other the diameter is 169,000. Saturn's day is 10 hours 14 minutes and it's year is 29.5 earth years. It has 18 natural satelliites(moons). Saturn's atmosphere is mostly made of Hydrogen and Helium. Saturn is so light it can float in water. It has winds up to 900 mph. Saturn has rings made up of ice and rock. There are three main rings and thousands of ringlets. You can see the rings through a small telescope.

Saturn has 2 main moons. Here are their names and about them:

Mimas- Miamas has a big crater that is 60 miles wide.
Titan- Titan is the largest. It is bigger than mercury. It has a cloudy atmosphere of nitrogen gas. It has oceans liquid methane.
