Mary-Kate & Ashley have conquered the movie, TV, video, software, and music industry already. So what's next for these two girls? Their new private line of fashions and accessories! Mary-Kate and Ashley recently went to NYC for a meeting about their own clothing line, so expect to see it come out soon.

For their next movie project, they'll be heading to South Africa, Australia, and Italy to film.

There is in fact plans for a new TV series in the future, but the idea is still in development and might take a while before we actually finally see the new show.

Did you catch Switching Goals? It was an awesome show! Now you can catch the official video copy of the movie soon. It'll be released on video April 11, 2000. It's still a bit of a wait, but just keep counting the days and the time will come before you know it!

Their most recent appearance was at the world premiere of "Anna and the King". I highly recommend this movie, not just because the twins have seen it, but because this show is indeed a very touching and moving story! It's a classic and historical tale.

There will be 3 special issues to the "Two of a Kind" book series. These 3 new books will be under the title "Two of a Kind Diaries". The first book will be called "Calling all Boys". Mary-Kate and Ashley are headed to boarding school! Yup, you heard that right! This book will be coming to your bookstore very soon, so keep your eye out for it!

Passport to Paris is now out! Be sure to get your copy! From the reviews I've heard, this uvideo is much better and much funnier than Billboard Dad. So...if you liked Billboard Dad, then you're gonna LOVE this video!

On November 8th, Mary-Kate and Ashley joined their fans for a half-hour chat on AOL to promote "Passport to Paris". Some new information discovered is that there is a good chance they will have another TV series next fall. Also, they loved Paris because they got to go there and shop.

Let's back track a bit since I haven't gotten the chance to update in a while. Mary-Kate & Ashley were recently on Donny and Marie and CBS Saturday Morning to promote their new video. There's not much new information that came from these two interviews though.

Well, to update you on Switching Goals. As you may already know, Switching Goals was not shown on the supposed air date of October 24th. They showed Father of the Bride II instead. Switching Goals has been moved to December 12th, ABC, 7pm EST. Mark down that day on your calendar! Because of the delayed air date, their Switching Goal video release date might be delayed as well. There will also be a Switching Goals book to go with the movie.

Just another reminder: In two weeks, on October 24th, Mary-Kate & Ashley's newest movie "Switching Goals" will air on ABC from 7-9pm. Make sure your VCR's are working! Just a note: On the previous Hot-Off-the-Press, I stated this movie will be shown on October 4th. I made a typo (it's been corrected now). 24th is the right time!

Right after enjoying Switching Goals in 2 more weeks, get set for another new Olsen movie coming out 2 weeks after Switching Goals. It is called "Passport to Paris" and will be released on video only on Novemer 9th. For those who haven't seen the cover to the movie yet, here it is:

Ok! Cool Yule has finally been released! If you didn't get your copy, go get it! Even though Mary-Kate and Ashley didn't all the songs, the other singers were still great and the entire album all in all is fantastic! The CD also contains several great new pictures of them making the album!

Two of a Kind: Two's a Crowd book is now out! Next one will be called "Calling All Boys" and will come out December 99! Also, the Full House Sisters: And the Winner Is is also out!

For all of those who still can't get over the cancellation of Two of a Kind, it's now your lucky day! Starting tomorrow, the Fox Family Channel (this cable channel treats Olsen Fans good) will air Two of a Kind repeats every day. Check your local listings for the right time. Unfortunately, you have to have cable to see it.

Totally awesome news to share today! First off, "Switching Goals" will be aired on TV on October 24, 1999 on channel ABC. Be sure to have your VCRs all set up! The movie will then be available on videos in December!

Now, for the moment you've all be waiting for: Mary-Kate & Ashley are going to have video games! Yes, video games for the PC and Game Boy Color! The good thing is they they will be released around this Christmas season, so be sure to be on the look out for it! There will be 2 titles: "Mary-Kate and Ashley's Dance Party of the Century" for the PC, which takes gamers on a dancing tour through the 20th century and beyond. "The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley" for Game Boy Color will bring innovative puzzle solving, based on their best-selling video, TV and publishing detective series!

Aside from being in the video games, the twins are really avid video game players themselves. "We spent a day at Acclaim's New York studio and we couldn't tear ourselves away from their games," said Mary-Kate. "We are looking forward to helping create games that are fun and true to our fans," added Ashley.

Even more great new! According to a news source, "Passport to Paris" will be released on November 9th, the same day "Billboard Dad" was released last month!

And just in case you didn't know, Fashion Party is out! Reviews for this video has been great! Be sure to get your copies now! Lyrics will be posted as soon as I get a hold of this video!

Ok, after a long long wait, I have finally gathered enough new information to make a big update. First off, Mary-Kate & Ashley are currently on their Sail with the Stars Cruise to Alaska with some of their biggest fan. The cruise will end next Monday the 30th.

Tons of changes and new additions to the Full House book series! After many years of the Full House Michelle book series, it's time for a change. The name will change to "Full House Michelle & Friends" and the cover will also look different. This change will begin with the book "Pigs, Pies, and Plenty of Problems". The next book up for this series is "If I Were President".

More Full House Sisters book coming right up! The 3rd book is called "And the Winner Is" (10/99) and the 4th book is called "How to Hide a Horse" (11/99). The cover to these 2 books will also be different from the first two books.

Mary-Kate & Ashley's Christmas Album will be called "Cool Yule: A Christmas Party with Friends" and will be released on October 5th. You can advance order at amazon.

Mary-Kate & Ashley's Christmas Album will feature an R&B version of "White Christmas," a swing medley of "Jingle Bells" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town," a salsa version of "The Twelve Days Of Christmas," and more. This album is being released by Dualstars Record and Rhino Kids and is produced by Richard Friedman and Gary Lux.

There will also be 30 second trailers promoting the album in their video "Fashion Party", "Switching Goals" with will come out on video in December 2000, and in "Passport to Paris" (year 2000)

There will also be a contest coming soon where the grand prize winner will win a trip to Hawaii. This sweepstakes will be entered online.

Remember that "Mary-Kate & Ashley's Fashion Party" video will be out next Tuesday (9/7/99). It will also contain a free sampler book and there's also an in-school promotion which involves book covers and subject folders given to girls in grades one through three.

School is about to begin again and this fall, Mary-Kate & Ashley will be entering 8th grade, the last year before they head off to high school!

After 2 weeks of little or no news, more information coming right before your eyes! First off, the Mary-Kate & Ashley calendar is now released! It contains 16 very nice huge pictures to go along with it! Most regular bookstores still do not have it in stock yet, but most online bookstores such as Amazon has it. If you can hardly wait for the calendar to come out in your store, order it online! It ships incredibly fast too!

You're soon be hearing more of Mary-Kate & Ashley's singing! First, on September 7th (rumored released date), the Fashion Party will be released! Then, in October, "Mary-Kate & Ashley's Christmas Album" will be out. Plenty of songs to keep you company as you try to memorize the lyrics.

Finally, some more news on Mary-Kate & Ashley's Happening! Their new You're invitied video "Fashion Party" will be released on September 7, 1999! Only 2 more months!

The new adventures book "The Case of the Slam Dunk Mystery"'s release date will be pushed back until January 2000.

In just one more month, the twins will be heading on another Sail with the Stars cruise with their lucky fans! From August 23-30th, they will be cruising around Alaska!

The Mary-Kate & Ashley 2000 Calendar has just been released by the publisher on July 16th. Bookstores will have them in stock in about a month or two!

Currently, the twins are already back from Paris! No other new plans were announced, so they're probably just enjoying summer vacation until the cruise comes.

Sadly, ABC decided to pull Two of a Kind from its schedule even before the new season begins. This means we will no longer be seeing anymore Two of a Kind on TV anymore :( The only good thing to make up for this is that we'll be able to see the twins again this fall in "Switching Goals", "Passport to Paris", "Fashion Party", and plenty of new books headed our way! So don't worry, we'll be seeing our favorite actresses plenty of times.

The Olsen Twins had a chat with all their fans on June 10th. They answered many questions. Transcript will be available as soon as "geocities" is working again!

Currently, they are in Paris filming their new movie "Passport to Paris". They left for Paris on June 14th. They will spend 2 weeks there, then they will go to Rome for 1 week before heading back to US just in time to be at the Final Women's World Cup tournament on July 10th.

For their 13th Birthday, they went to see "Austin Powers: The Spy who Shagged Me" with a couple of their friends. They mostly got money this year since they were going to Paris the very next day.

More songs from Mary-Kate & Ashley coming soon! They will be releasing a Christmas CD this year! More info will come as it becomes available.

The new "New Adventures" book are called "The Case of the Green Ghost" and "The Case of the Big Sca?? Mountain Mystery". One book, "The Case of the Slam Dunk Mystery" which was supposed to come after "The Case of the Surfing Secret" might not be released at all.

The twins have already finished taping "Switching Goals"! They'll soon to heading off to Paris to film not 1, but 2 videos! One video is an "You're invited" party video and the other one is a direct-to-video movie (like Billboard Dad) that is called "Passport to Paris". Both will be out sometime in the year 2000. And we can look forward to "Switching Goals" on TV this fall!

Tons of new books are soon to come out this summer! There is the year 2000 calendar coming out this August. There is also a journal book called "My Mary-Kate & Ashley Diary, For All My Words" out this August. It has 128 pages and retails for $12.99.

In addition, there will be a book called "The Olsen Twins" coming out December 1999. It will probably be a scrapbook. It is 32 pages long and sells for $5.95

New price changes for Olsen books! Starting with the book "My Sister the Supermodel" from the Two of a Kind series, the price for each book will be raised from $3.99 to $4.25. Not too much a change, but it's news!

Ok, ABC was supposed to show the Olsen Twins during the TGIF programming on June 4th, but they didn't. Hopefully, they will show it this Friday. Be sure to check!

Happy (early) Birthday to Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen!!!! They turn 13 this Sunday (13th)! They'll finally be teenagers! Boy time sure flies! Our best wishes goes out to both of them!

Watch out Olsen Fans! In celebration of the twins' 13th birthday (June 13th in case you didn't know), the FOX Family channel will be running a 13 hour Olsen marathon on their birthday. It'll also mark the premiere of "Mary-Kate & Ashley's Adventures", which is probably going to be their detective videos. Here's a rundown of the show schedule (FOX Family channel is a cable channel, so check your local listings for the right channel number if you have cable):
9-11am: Double Double Toil and Trouble
11-1pm: How the West was Fun
1-1:30: Mary-Kate & Ashley's Adventures
1:30-2: Mary-Kate & Ashley's Adventures

Another reminder: The twins should be hosting TGIF this Friday (June 4th), so be sure to watch TGIF this week even if they're reruns!

Sad news. When ABC announced its Fall 1999-2000 schedule, Two of a Kind was not on the list. ABC cancelled it. The WB channel did not pick it up either as planned if ABC dropped it.

After all the weeks of Two of a Kind being off the air, it will return with repeats starting on May 28th at 8pm ET. Catch it while you can!

On June 4, the twins will be hosting TGIF with clips from their soccer training with the US Team about a month ago. Mark down this date!

Full House Michelle's "The Baby-Sitting Boss" is out! "The Case of the Super Camp Caper" is also out now! Next one up is "The Case of the Surfing Secret" coming in June and also don't forget "To Snoop or Not to Snoop" of the Two of a Kind series in June as well.

Guess the news below came a little late, but they will air repeats again during this week. Check your listings for the time and date. The good news is that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen WON the title as best TV Actresses for Two of a Kind!!!!!!! Congratulations to our favorite twins! They were able to be there live to accept the award since they were filming "Switching Goals" in Toronto, but they were able to give an acceptance speech via a satellite!

Don't forget to watch "1999's Kids Choice Awards" on Saturday, May 1st. It's on cable channel Nick and will air live from Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles starting at 8pm EST. Mary-Kate & Ashley were nominated for TV's Best Actress, so be sure to tune it to see if they won! There's also a possibility that they might be presenting an award as well. For those without cable, the result will be posted here shortly!

It's renewal season and ABC is still deciding whether to keep "Two of a Kind" because of it's falling ratings. The good news about this bad part is if ABC decides to drop the show, the WB network will mostly likely pick the show up since they're starting a pro-family programing on Fridays next fall as well!

Mary-Kate and Ashley are currently in Toronto, Canada to film their new ABC-TV movie, Switching Goals. They'll be there for 6 six weeks. After that, they're headed for Paris to start their new video movie, so a majority of their summer vacation will be spent working.

Network news! Because NBC's "Providence" drew many adult views away from the TGIF sitcoms on Fridays, ABC might consider doing more adult shows. ABC also has other worries, because "Two of a Kind" is produced by Warner Bros. Television, whose sister network, the WB, is expected to expand to Friday nights next season and would no doubt love having the show if ABC drops it. Therefore, do not worry about Two of a Kind going off the air as many rumors might have said. Even if ABC drops it, there is a very high chance the WB channel would pick the show up, just like the once ABC show "Sister, Sister" Thanks for Yoshieye for contributing this great new info!

Mary-Kate and Ashley are heading off to Toronto Canada next month to start filming their new movie "Switching Goals".

On March 29, 1999, Mary-Kate and Ashley had a special training session with Mia Hamm and other members of the Olympic Champion U.S. Women's National Team at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to prepare for their new ABC movie "Switching Goals". Clips from this event will be shown during ABC's TGIF block on June 4, leading into the June 6 kick-off of pre-Cup coverage on ABC/ESPN.

Since they are the teen ambassadors of this big event, Mary-Kate and Ashley will report online from April to June about the upcoming Women's World Cup. They also will host the Women's World Cup Block party July 9 in Los Angeles, one day before the final game of the tournament.

The opening ceremonies on the Women's World Cup is June 19 at Giants Stadium in New York and will be hosted by the twins, so if you are able to buy tickets to this event, you might get to see them!

One detail about their new direct-to-video movie filmed in Paris is about they twins going to visit their uncle and shop.
