WINDOW TO LIFE
I glance at it's foggy face
what has it seen in the past?
Life it some sort of race
you must run fast
Life is too short to waste
now you miss that marathon
that you tried to race
while we evolve around the sun
we are all like tiny grains of salt
in this big pool of fate
we point fingers, it's all our fault
and strive for the first rate
We all want to be known
That's our number one goal
as we have all grown
in this tale I have told
Just keep in mind
that life isn't long
it'll flash before your eyes,
I'll just leave you with so long

THE MEMORY OF PAIN
As I was glancing through my scrapbook
I found an old tearstain
I had a few flashbacks, and noticed
that they were from pain
Everywhere I go, my memories are with me
I wish I knew if they really missed me
don't you wonder how it could have been?
At times I want to start over again.
Don't you wonder what could've happened?
I guess I'll remember until the end.

CHRISTMAS
There is only one thing to Christmas, you know
It's not about Santa, The Reindeer or snow
it's not about presents under the tree
it's not about being with family
It's not about big means
and kneels to the fire
or getting the one gift you most desire
It's not about getting candy, presents, food galore...
It's the day that Christ the Lord was born

THANKS, MOM
Ever since I first opened my eyes,
you heard my little baby cries.
when I got older and learned to stand,
you taught me to walk, and took my hand
when I got real sick, you cried and cried,
when I took my first step to school doors,
we sadly waved, and you cried some more.
All through my life we've been there for each other,
I want to say thank you, my glorious mother.

DAD
Was it you I saw first,
when to me mom gave birth,
you thought I was a guy
and at 15 months I would die
you had confidence in me on and on
and that I wouldnt pass on
after reading this I hope you feel happy
and I love you daddy
if you love me
then you should hug me!
