Forget for a moment
how the world sees
you, how everyone around
thinks of you forget how you
guard yourself and just be the
man I fell in love with, don't
talk at me speak to me, look
in my eyes not all around
be calm within again,just
let go forget about the aftermath,
please tell me the god's honest
truth don't lie right here right now
it's just between you and me,
nothing else matters unless you
let it come into play,
do you finally see and understand
that it's not about anyone or anything
else,
moment's come and go but second
chances are given don't walkaway
from this, we're unable to predict
what tomorrow may bring and to
live the rest of our lives wondering
"what if" it's not something I can do,
please hear my words as I'm speaking
them to you everytime our paths cross
and we see each other the feelings
still remain,your presence is within
my mind every night before I lay
myself down to sleep,
when your hands caress my body
and your lips touch mine there's
no way for me to explain how incredibly
right it feels,like there's no one
else but you and I,
when I close my eyes I can visualize
us hand in hand forty years from now
old and grey together forever and a day,
I can not hide my feelings for you
nor do I wish to,perhaps the timing's not
right or the fear of rejection and worry
has been the reason for the stalling till
now, I'm not willing to walkaway from
true happiness we have a second chance
don't let it fade away..

A THOUGHT FROM ME TO YOU
Poems don't have to be long
to hold awesome truths,loving
people all means the same in
the end it means we accept them
as they are,
We all hide behind masks we
wear them day in and out,hiding
who we truly are and what we
really need,how we honestly
feel and whom we wish we could
be.We long for that moment
with "the one" who will show
us we can be free.
