This cross stands for many ideals - the four seasons, fhe four directions, the four archangels, the four winds, the four quarters of the magick circle, and more. Drawnn in the air or on a paper from top to bottom and right to left with the right hand, the symbol represents healing energies. Drawn from top to bottom and left to right with the left hand signifies banishing negative energies. A Witch also employs the equal-armed cross to "seal" a magickal working so that negative energies cannot reverse the positive efforts of the magickal person. |
