Conor Hayes Tribute
"I saw an Irish dancing video when I was about 14 and I
fell in love. I knew I had the fire in my
soul." said Conor Hayes, 26 at a
recent interview.
After taking first place at the 1996 World Irish Dancing
Championship Hayes became the only
Australian
member of the dance troupe Riverdance. Conor Hayes has taken over the
lead role in
Riverdance, when star Colin Dunne was injured.
