sorrow's child
reconnects the dream
of what never was
into her realm of make believe fantasies
so it becomes truth
carefully plaing out blissful memories
on the movie screen of her mind
delving deep within herself
withdrawing from the mockery
of society's finest
jocular laughter and jeers
are not in existence
nor happiness
far behind
