Dahak Returns III

Niko ran to Serey. "No!" he yelled as he took her into his arms. "It didn't have to end this way Serey. You can't die now. Come back to us!" he yelled as he pounded her chest. He knew that she was gone so there was only one solution. Following her to the other side. He concentrated as hard as he could and projected himself out of his body. He saw her spirit raising out of the room and reached for it. "Serey," he said. "Take my hand! You can still come back, please," he cried as he reached for the spirit of his friend. "You have so much good that can still be done. We can rid the world of evil. Together, our powers are greater than any of those around us. Including Dahak, and he will be back. I can't stop him without you, please."
Serey's soul slowly returned to her body for one last minute of life.
Serey shook her head at Niko. "I don't think I can, I am the mother of the Magi druids. I must fulfill that spot eternally." Then another spirit became visible. The spirit was blurry though. "He is right, you have so much you can still do. But remember, you do have free will. You will not remember a thing about your powers or what happened entirely. You won't remember this Serey. But the world needs you. I just hope you pick the right path. Then the spirit sucked the powers out of Serey's spirit. And Serey's spirit was jerked back into her body.
Serey gasped for air. But she fell back in pain. The dagger was still in her and was still very deep. "Ahhh." She yelled, then pulled it out gently. Serey looked at her wound, then at Niko's body on her legs, then she fainted.

>From the distance Niko could see a light comming of nowhere. A woman came
from the fog surrounding her. She was dressed in black, covered by a hood.
She walked over Niko and looked at Serey. She also look at the hopeless man
covered in tears, in emotional pain by the woman he loved. Now that she
found love in Niko, Serey was leaving.
The strange woman stood in front of Niko. "May I help?"
This woman is dying, and she will die because there is anything you can
do," the strange woman said in a deep voice and very serious. "I am, what
you called, healer. Let me take a look" As the stranger took a good look
at Serey, she saw that when they pulled out the dagger it cutted an artery.
"This wound is old, and yet, I don't know how she managed to stay alive this
long. Was she under a spell or something?" The woman saw the surprised
look over Niko. Niko didn't expect such knowledge from a stranger.
"My dear child, if nothing is done rightnow, she will die, would you like
that to happen?"
As she looked at the shocked man a strong wind started to blow...
Niko looked at the stranger and then to the winds. "No Damnu! Oh goddess of wind and the gate to the other world. She can not go. She, the mother of the Magi Druids, has so much good to do. Please, let me heal her! Please, after all my years of faith to you, at least let me do this once!" he yelled to the sky. Damnu answered with a gush of wind sending Niko sprawling into the wall.
Suddenly, a bright light filled the room and Niko's goddess Danu appeared. "Damnu, leave him alone, he is for me to handle!" she yelled as she motioned for Niko to heal Serey.
Niko crawled to Serey in fear of the goddess Damnu to stop him. He covered her wound and light circulated her body. The light entered the wound and it was gone moments later. Serey coughed and Niko took her into his arms. "Thank you Danu," he whispered as the goddess dissapeared. "Serey, are you okay?" he asked silently as he looked up to the strange women.
"Thank you for giving me the strength to do that. What is your name?" he asked her.
After all this the strange woman dissapeared into the mists. Not saying
another word to the two, she vanished.
No one knows her name, nor what is she. Is she a god? Is she a healer?
Does anyone else know her?
Very intruiging, huh? Maybe time will let us know somehow.
Serey coughed then sat herself up away from Niko. She felt for her wound. It was gone. She smiled. She knew that wound should have killed her (remember, Serey does not remember everything that happened. Serey now believed in his powers fully. She was very tired and out of energy, but she got to her knees and grabbed Niko's hand. She kissed his hand then bowed her head onto his hand, "Thank Great Niko of Might and Magic." she said in wait for a reply. She knew that this deed was great and that she would never be able to repay him for it.

Artemis appeared near the two, and how she found them, he would never know but Niko held Serey in his arms for she was still weak, with the same love that he would give to Danu, to Mav, his guardian feary, and with the same love given to him by his mother.
- Niko,smiled at Serey. "Serey, you are my friend, the only person
that made my powers so great was you. I did this to save you. I love you
just the same as Apollo, as Mav, my guardian feary, and even as Danu herself.
I could never watch you die...." he said with a tear in his eye. "Artemis, Dahak is gone. Serey and I destroyed him." He smiled at
the clueless goddess.
Artemis smiled and made a wagon appear
and with that, Niko, Serey, and Artemis rode off in the wagon. Niko and
Serey sleeping side by side after their long and hard battle against Dahak
for their lives and their souls.
Will their endless battle against Dahak ever end? Only time will tell but
wherever,whenever he returns, they will always be there to stop him.
