The Story of Xena, Warrior Princess
When I talk to most people that don't watch the show, they tend to ask me, who is the Warrior Princess... This sends me rambling on for hours so I will explain it now.
Most people don't know that Xena was never a first episode show, but branched off from Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. This first episode, which was Warrior Princess, was the first appearance of Xena and due to ratings, it expanded to its' own show.
After the first episode of Xena, which was Sins of the Past, Xena met her best friend, Gabrielle, who she has been with through everything, and will continue to be with eachother after they die, which is shown in the new episode, Ides of March....... But after their death, they experience a great struggly in the after life when Callisto is saved from hell. Xena and Gabrielle are brought back to life by a miraculous man, Eli, and Xena is discovered to be pregnant.
But from the beginning, until what is the end of their lives, Xena has gone through many adventures, which still leaves the question, who is Xena, Warrior Princess?
My personal answers are Xena is:
a warrior
a friend
a sister
a peacemaker
a role model
a mentor
a philosopher
and most of all, Xena is a little bit of us.
