Yeshua's Light
Gifts: Torah Study(YHVH, G-d)
- To circumcise the male offspring (Gen.17.12, Lev.12.3, Cat.527, 1150) {Brit Milah: Circumcision}. Further, the Sacrament of Baptism is the fulfillment of Circumcision of the heart, however Paul upheld circumcision for Jews (Rom.3.1-2 and Gal.5.11), not because of faith but because we suspect of our Jewish Identity in those “irrevocable gifts”, Rom.11.29.
- To put tzitzis (fringes) on the corners of clothing and with these a thread of blue to remind us of His Mitzvahs (Num.15.38, scapula); however Yeshua warned us that they should not be “long”, Matt.23.5. Exactly what this means would depend, we suspect, on how “long” they were in the first century compared to Rambam’s Mitzvahs that are generally accepted by all of Orthodoxy. Still, tzitzis are deep in spiritual significance and as Athol Bloomer has written, it has a mystical link to the rosary, something worth researching more fully in the future.
- To bind the words of Duet.6.4-9 affixed to tephillin between the eyes of the head (Deut.6.8, rosary); however Yeshua warns us they not be “broad” (see previous), Matt.23.5. We’d like others to study if HaShem was talking about the entire text of Duet.6.4-9 or its essence found in the two Hebrew letters Moshe made larger in the Sh’mah- Ayn and Dalet. These two letters have deep significance as well.
- To bind these words (tephillin) on the hand/arm (Deut.6.8, rosary) same as above. Still the reason these cover not only your hand but also your arm is because the word for arm is slightly ambiguous. In HaMoshiach might this be why Yeshua condemned them as too “broad” and do we really need such a big box?
- To write these words upon the doorposts and gates of your city (Deut.6.9, put a cross within view of a door and above beds, Cat.1161). Here it specifies the words of Deut.6.4-9 to be “written out”.
