Yeshua's Light
Gift: Prayers and Blessings(YHVH, G-d)
· - ”You are to love your neighbor as yourself” (Lev.19.18, Cat.2055). Please see Ecumenicalism and Zechariah. This includes our neighbor, the one who needs mercy and is the essence of Love, but it also includes our enemy as Yeshua challenged us to see, and that is sometimes the hardest love to have of all, Matt.5.43-48 (Cat.1933, 1825). Such love as this leads to perfection in all Mitzvahs, for as the rabbis teach the frame of a Hahalacha is Love and it is confirmed in the New Testament as well, 1Jn.2.9-11.
·
- You shall reason with a sinner (Lev.19.17, Matt.17.3-4, Cat. 1868) This Mitzvah is quoted twice by Rambam, why?
·
- If you see an enemy’s ass burdened you are called to help it. If this true for an ass, how much more so is it of a weak person caught in sin? So whether it’s neighbor we know, a stranger or even a helpless animal, if we see one in need we should step in to help, for this is love. (Ex.23.5)
