FROM THE ARCHIVES, VOL. I

TOMMY BOLIN ARCHIVES, Inc.
RHINO RECORDS
and RPM 158
Review by RPM Records

This first collection of unissued recordings is a fine tribute to the unique talent of this much loved and influential guitarist who died in 1976. The CD spans much of his career, from the jazz fusion of ENERGY in 1971 to the final tour of the TOMMY BOLIN BAND in 1976. Also featured are acoustic solo tracks, out-takes from his solo albums (with the stunning instrumental "Crazed Fandango" among the many high-points), live recordings and other rare items. No Bolin fan should be without it, while those discovering the player for the first time will see why he is still seen as an influential player by many big names. The rpm "special edition" is dressed with our biggest inlay ever, including comprehensive sleeve notes, memorabilia & many extra colour pictures.

1 Wild Dogs (Acoustic Demo), 2 Red Skies - Energy (Demo), 3 Evening Rain (Ac. Demo), 4 Sister Andrea - Jeremy Steig (Demo), 5 Heart Light - Energy (Demo), 6 Teaser (Ac. Demo), 7 You Know - Tommy Bolin & Friends (Live), 8 San Francisco River - Tommy Bolin & Friends (Live), 9 Meaning Of Love (Ac. Demo), 10 Shake The Devil - Tommy Bolin Band (Live), 11 Crazed Fandango (Teaser outtake), 12 Jump Back (Ac. Demo), 13 Wild Dogs (early LA Demo)
