Well, the MtV Movie Awards is over. And the turnout for Buffy Stars was quite good. Out of the 4 categories Buffy stars were somehow nominated in, 2 were won.

-Sarah Michelle Gellar WON for Best Female Performance
-Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair WON for Best Kiss
-Sarah Michelle Gellar LOST Best Villain to Mike Myers
-American Pie (Alyson Hannigan) LOST Best Movie to The Matrix

I suppose I can't exacty complain. Sarah got 2 out of 3 awards, so that's pretty good. Presenting awards were Seth Green and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Sarah showed up with boyfriend Freddie Prinze Jr., who showed their fair share of public displays of affection! They're pretty cute together, so I won't critique. They were also voted #5 on MtV's best dressed list of the night. Seth Green (along with QTip) presented D'Angelo for his performance of Devil's Pie. I'll have screenshots of the event VERY soon. For now, I have shots from MTV.COM where there is much more footage from the night.
