Life Isn't a Computer Game

 
Life isn't like a computer game.
You can't always hit the 'reset' button,
when something goes wrong.

You can't always choose your opponents,
or even their skill level.
Sometimes you can't even choose,
your OWN weapons.

You don't get X number of chances
to do it over again,
until you get it right.

You don't get to just turn it off,
and walk away,
if you become tired of it.

You don't get to be ressurected
if you decide later that you
shouldn't have taken that chance.

You don't get to have a new life,
Just by rewriting one file.

Life isn't about outsmarting the other guy,
because it just might be,
that he's holding the plug.
