The last song on A Collection of Curiosities is "Invite Her In" by
the band Planet of Playthings. "Invite Her In" sounds a lot like
old Primus. Although the song is not complicated, the instruments
fit together in an unusual way in each of the different sections
giving the song a very strange feel. The drum parts are inventive.
The bass guitar parts have a lot of slapping and the guitar is very
jagged. Add to this a very strange vocal line and you end up a Bizarre little up-beat ditty. Planet of Playthings plays music in
several styles ranging from blues to punk, alternative pop to flat
out odd.
