As the first member of X-POSURE, BUCKSHOT was also the first person given powers by INSANITY, since he was human. He disappeared several months after the team formed, and was believed to have been a traitor. His superior attitude towards INSANITY and the team makes him a likely candidate for this. It was likely that he could have been a plant and worked for the CONSPIRACY all along.
After SAND and MUTINY were sent to spy on BUCKSHOT, it is now reported that he was an unwilling pawn of the CONSPIRACY. The CONSPIRACY could have extracted the knowledge of X-POSURE from his mind, without him knowing. But this still does not compensate for the fact that he left the team.
