HELLO!!!!! Well if you have made it this far into my site, then I think it is time to introduce myself more properly!
My name is KIM GAYLORD, and I live in WESTERN NEW YORK in the USA along the shores of Lake Erie. My wife Karen and I live in a summer resort community, South of Buffalo Ny. year round. As busy as it is in the summer months, it is equally peaceful & quiet the rest of the year. ClickHERE for a map of the area. Less than an hours drive is the mighty NIAGARA FALLS
Our son is grown and out on his own, married and in the navy, with 2 children of his own. We share our home with 1 Old English Sheepdog and 2 cats, or perhaps they share their home with us! I get confused at times. Wolfgang, our Sheepdog is 4 yrs old. Next comes Willow our grey tabby at age 10. and the grand old lady of the house is Autumn at age 19.

My working life has been filled with several diverse paths. I worked in a Steel Mill out of high school. Upon it's closing I went into the cooking profession. My love of cooking is still a part of my life. Be sure to check my cooking page for a few recipies that will please the palate and some great cooking links as well. I spent 8 yrs cooking in medium sized restraunts as the head cook/chef. Seafoods, soups & chowders were among my specialties. After cooking in the private sector I went into the food service department of a State Psychiatric Hospital. I spent 10 yrs working from a server up to a supervisor in the department. 2 yrs ago I transitioned to a direct care position working with the developmentally disabled in a group home setting.
When not working I have a variety of projects which keep me busy. I am currently in the middle of writing (at least trying to) a sword & sorcery fantasy novel. With over 300 pages done, I can honestly say that I never would have thought such a task could be as challenging , or as fun! My Internet name of TRAPAIRIAN is in fact the wizard in my book.
