Welcome

Many people have sent me emails (RE: My mothers page).
So, I would like to share with you some of the things
that people are saying when they visit
My Mothers page.
I wish to do this to show that she still lives on...

Hi Dee,
Just wanted to let you know your page dedicated to your Mother is beautiful.
I'm sure she'd be very proud.
Deb

Hi Dee....
Just wanted to send you a note to say I loved your page about your mother. I did a dedication to my mother too, your site inspired me for some more ideas with stories & such. I found your page while looking at the "Remembering Mother" webring....I didn't even realize there was such a webring..but it's so helpful to see how other people have dealt with the loss of their mother....
best wishes to you!
Julie
if you wanna stop by...maybe give me some pointers *S*

Dee:
I have just been so moved by visiting your site. I linked in from the LOTH Region 16 page to look at your graphics for possible use on my site. I will most definitely be using many of them.
I would also like to ask if I may link to your site from mine on my newest page Inspirational-Encouragement. I created this page to help families coping with tough times who have children who have been diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer and especially those families like mine who have lost their "Special Angels" to this devastating disease. I would like to link to your Angel Poems page and then from there people will have the opportunity to visit your entire site.
You have an absolutely beautiful site.
I was so moved by the tribute to your mother and especially the "skunk" story.
Please let me know if it would be all right for me to link to yours. The page I have created is located at http://angelsofhope.com/Inspirational-Encouragement.html

(with tears I read this...)

Dear Dee,
I truly enjoyed your web site. You are very creative. Very talented. I am fairly new to the computer but really want to learn and someday build my own web site. I am a 55 year old mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I was born in the same year as your mother, 1943 and I also have a daughter named Dee. When she was little we called her DeeDee. Anybody ever do that to you?
We were also big on camping when the children were small.
I am an artist and writer and I read every word you wrote about your mother. And cried. You are a good writer Dee. You created great emotion in me. I could almost see you and your Mom and the exciting life she created for you while you had her here with you. She did a good job. You sound like a well rounded, talented and sensible young woman. I'm sure your three children would have loved your Mom as much as you did. I know how much fun I 've had with my grandchildren. I'm sorry they didn't get to know your Mother. You have created a wonderful memorial to her. I'm sure she knows and approves. From her picture I can see the love and kindness in her face. And you made her seem so alive.
I enjoyed your entire website. Especially your creations. I love the Red Wave background.
Someday soon I'm going to get brave enough , or learn enough to create my own computer art.
Till then, it's back to the old pencil and brush. Got an eagle to paint for someone at church.
I hope that both you and your Mom believed in Jesus as Savior, so you can be together again someday.
God bless you Dee,
Yours In Christ,
Carol Staggs

(With chilling joy, I read...)

Dee,
I want to start off by telling you I think your memorial to your mother was very emotional and inspiring. I was flipping the websites on Mom, and I ran across yours.
First of all, my name is L'eisa. I am 33. I am originally from Mississippi.
I moved to Las Vegas in January of this year, after a heart drenching divorce. I have an aunt and uncle here. I have been divorced almost two years. We were married 13 years, no children of our own. He had a 13 year daughter that we raised from two months. The month after my divorce was final, he married my best friend. I stayed in Mississippi for as long as I could till I just couldn't anymore. The pain, the memories, the lies and deceit, I had to leave. So I packed my car and left.
Well, I left a memory in Mississippi but the greatest of all,...My Mother.
When I lived there, I would see her maybe one time a week. But I don't think anyone realizes the pain I feel when I can't see her when I want to. I can feel your pain.
I know I can see her and its a bit different in my case, but the lonely feeling of not having her is without a doubt, the biggest fear of all.
I was so inspired by your website, I cried, and nevertheless, made plane reservations,....I am GOING HOME.
Thank you for inspiring me. Knowing I "do" still have my Mom on God's green earth, I have to see her.
God Bless You,
L'eisa

(L'eisa, thank you so much for your kind and wonderful words. *smile* When you get to your Mother, please give her a big hug from me, for raising such a wonderful and strong woman. Make the best of it while you are there with your Mother. Life is but a choice. You can choose to keep hurting, or you can choose to be strong and make life wonderful with your mother by your side. Good luck hun!!! ~Dee)
