I think that DMX here starts the song with a really powerful line saying "To Live is to Suffer, But to Survive, Well Thats To Find Meaning In The Suffering"
That line itself says alot. The beat on this one is slow and flows with the ryhmes that DMX purposes.
The drama that the LB bring to the mic in this track is phenomenal. The was written in dedication of a girlfriend of Mr. Cheeks after she was caught in a crossfire of a drive by shooting. The way he describes all the time him and Renee spent together and then her passing and how it affected him mixed in well perfectly with the flowing beat."A ghetto love is the law that we live by, Day by day I wonder why my shorty had to die "

"slim shady LP" is really a "keepin it real " album but this one track of that album shows the struggle that you have to go through to achieve life goals. Eminem blows the house down with ryhme becaus through out he whole song he tells it how it is when you hit the "rockbottom". "its cool to be the player, but it sucks to be the fan, When all you need is bucks to be the man" just that line is a realitly check to any man or women.
The thugs from Cleveland show there aprecation to there late Producer of there Platinum "E 99 Enternal" Eric "easy e" Wright. The thugs proclaim how they will one day die also and meet back with Easy E in the Crossroads of life. In there other track off of the "Set it off" soundtrack, they basically repeat the same moral but with a lighter beat and louder ryhmes.

This is probuly the only song I ever really heard where the artist gives a whole 5 minutes off of Double platnium album to show to his mother that "she is apreciated". The album that this was released off of "me against the world" was a great buy also. 2 pac brings back his childhood memories in this one saying all the drama that he encountered in the ghetto would have got him killed earlier if it wasent for his mother supporting him, even though she was a drug addict. This song proclaims that you should never disrespect your mom casue she was the only person in this world that will love you the most no matter what state of life your in. This song had a great theme
