- Taido is based on five basic movements. Sentai. Untai. Hentai. Nentai. Tentai. Jumping kicks. Sweeping techniques. Taido combines gymnastics movements with kicks and punches to create attacking techniques. Five basic movements: Sen, Un, Hen, Nen, and Ten. In Taido techniques are applied to handle the situation. Techniques are applied against single opponents and multiple opponents. A single opponent against five opponents. Punch kick leap. In Taido one moves around all the time. Sen (Whirlwind). Un (Waves).
