Chocolate Cake

(Adapted from Jo's Cake recipe)


6 scoops chocolate protein powder
(I used Optimum Nutrition's Chocolate 100% Whey Protein)
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 stick butter (1/4 lb.) - softened
4 tbsp. No Cal chocolate syrup
4 tbsp. water
6 eggs
Sugar substitute to equal 1/4-1/2 cup sugar
(I used: 2 Tbsp. sugar twin, 2 tsp. brown sugar twin & 4 pks equal)
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil


Separate the whites from yolks of five of the eggs and whip the whites
until stiff. In another bowl mix together the five yolks, the sixth egg,
the butter, vegetable oil, water, and chocolate syrup. Mix well. Next
add the protein powder, baking powder and the sweetener. Mix well.
Fold in the egg whites until well blended and pour into an 8x8x2
greased pan. Bake at 350*F for about 25 minutes.

Makes 16 servings at 1.5g carb each.
