January 1999-Guess What! Mommy and daddy had me on a waiting list for a preschool for months and months and in January we got the call that there was an opening for me!
I have a little backpack now and I go to school two mornings a week for two hours! I just love it, but I won't let mommy leave me. She has to stay and play with me! I get to paint and glue and run around in the gym! It's great and I think mommy likes it as much as I do!
When I turned two years old in August my mommy and daddy took me on an airplane to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida so that I could
celebrate with Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet and my favorite, Winnie the Pooh.
When I was eating breakfast, they came and joined me and I was so excited I couldn't
eat or sit still at all. We stayed at The Disney Yacht and Beach Club and daddy would never leave the pool! It was amazing! There was a big kiddie pool for me that was up to my neck and had sand in it and looked just like a beach! They had pails and shovels for me and mommy and daddy to build sandcastles with! I can't wait to go there again in a few years!!
When I was a baby Mommy was trying to teach me to recognize my different body parts one day. She said "Where are your eyes? and I pointed to my eyes, then she said, "where are you hands?" and I showed her my fingers. She asked where my mouth
was and I stuck out my tongue, and when she asked where my nose was I decided to pick it. Then she decided to
trick me and ask where my ear was, I was pointing to my stuffed animal but she said "no, where is your ear", again
I pointed to my animal beside me. She laughed because I thought she was saying where is your "Eeyore" and I was
showing her my stuffed Eeyore doll!!!
This is my playhouse that mommy and daddy built for me. It is so much fun to play in and it even has little tables and chairs just my size. We love to have pretend apple juice and chocolate chip cookies in there! My FAVORITE thing to do in my little house however is to throw my dogs ball in through the window and then open the door to let him run inside. When he's in there, I shut it as fast as I can and he is so big, he puts his head over the door and barks at me until I let him out. Mommy doesn't like it when I do that, but what else is a two year old to do????
I love to read books with mommy! My favorite book is called "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?" by Bill Martin Jr and Eric Carle. I love it so much and make mommy read it too me a hundred thousand times a day!!!
If you love my pooh graphics, Mommy found some of them here:
