The above photo was given to me by my grandmother, Esther (Dockstader) Altman.
The subjects are her paternal grandparents, along with her Aunt Alice.
The image is a digital flatbed scan of a Daugerrotype photo, taken through the glass. As the glass is deteriorating, I'm looking into having the glass replaced by a professional conservator, along with any other preservation that is needed.
I will have the Daugerrotype scanned while it is disassembled, making the image available to any of my cousins who would like a copy.
