~One Lone Tear~
Faded dreams slowly swirl
through misty veils of fog
that clouds my hearts memories
of a long ago love...
I shed-
one lone tear
~
My yearning soul reaches out
for that far away dream
that I know deep down
will never be fulfilled...
still it falls-
one lone tear
~
I spiral into reality
as my dream plummets down
joining fellow dwellers
into the pit of sorrow...
forever it lays-
one lone tear.

I languished within your lies
lived for every word
that dripped sweet
from dried lips
betrayed in
lonely eyes..

Invisible doubts festered strong
ignored, I pushed them aside
as the frayed rope
began to unwind
losing it's grip
of truth's song..
*
I lay awake, bewildered
in wonderment of it all
amazed at how a jester
can befall a fool
who willingly unveils
hidden walls.

My soul felt a lifetime
of loving words...
happiness and hope...
wishes and dreams...
trapped within delusions of moments past....
I am now but a hollow lifetime
of desperate solitude
drowning in deep illusions
of me....

Time elusive
within
moments of you-
reality
of dreams
reared
illusions true

Lights shadow
illuminates
torn shards of dark-
tears
of emptiness
clouds
my broken heart
*
Flooding memories
drown
the here and now-
breathing
of once was
and yet
never gaining ground
*
Sorrows etched
deeply
engraved upon my soul...
silently
veiled from you
whispers
a neverending hold.

I watched the sway of the sea's wave
take the innocence of a child lost;
swallow the life of once what was
what never will be again...
Lapping upon the jagged rocks
crashing against my nightmares
flickers of hope rising - fall within
each grain of smothering sand...
The dusk of the sun meets a rising moon
reflecting shadows of light
upon the grave of the waters
and my tears dried of the wind...
I watch the sway of the sea's wave
rolling slowly, it comes to me
praying...you've taken my heart
release me now, take hold my hand.

Stake my heart
within deep quiet crevices
fill empty gaps
that lies beyond...
Entomb my pain
of all that is wasted
conceal my thoughts
what was right, now wrong...
Seal my soul
of fates hidden shadow
confine my rooted fear
for in you...
I continue on.

Silken threads entwine
a willing soul recieves
all you wish to bind..
touch me
Distortion rears sublime
blinders skim the crease
weaving colors that wind..
pass me
Deny blackened webs
spiral twisted turns
show the way instead..
encase me
Pathways begin to ebb
wishes of endings yearn
hollowness forever leads
Free me.

Whispers within painted walls
covered up with glim
spreadens stark dark secrets
which cries deep within..
Misty veils cover little
for the sheer reveals all
denouncing wordless lies
crumpled..truth calls.
