(about Mother's Day)

Dear J.J.,
This will be my first Mother's Day. I'm missing you so much. The best gift I could receive would be to have you here physically, but I know that won't happen. At least I know that God is taking care of you, and that you're in the most beautiful place -- Heaven. When it's time for me to leave earth and go to Heaven, we'll have many Mother's Days to spend together. Then, I'll be able to hold you and to hear you. I know you're here with me in a way, and I know that you'll be with me that way on Mother's Day. I'll go to visit you at the cemetery on Sunday. I asked God to take care of you, and to give you kisses. I love you! I want you to know how proud I am to be your mother.
