How did you feel when the nude pictures and the kiss and tell stories were in the tabloids?
"I thought it was funny. I could have been annoyed but I just developed a really good sense of humour about it. I knew it was going to be part and parcel of being in the band. As for the guy who sold his story - I didn't even kiss him! I went out woth the guy and all he did was talk about his ex-girlfriends so that's how much truth there is in that!"
Did that annoy you?
"Not really, I don't even blame anyone for doing it if they're strapped for cash. I'm not bitter about it all. We asked to be under the spotlight so we can't really complain. It goes with the territory."
Was your mum upset about the nude pictures?
"Not really cos she knew I'd done it so we didn't think it was a big deal. Everyone takes their clothes off sometime. I've never claimed to be perfect, we'we all got a past and that's mine."
What about the picture of you doing a high kick at the National TV Awards - wearing no knickers?
"That annoyed me more than the nude pictures. I did actually have knickers on but they must have caught me at a bad angle. I got over it though, I just thought, 'That'll teach me!'"
Have you ever offened any of the other Spice Girls?
"Sometimes yeah but they just tell me to shut up! If you don't say exactly what you think people misinterpret what you're saying, and that causes even more problems. No-one wants to hurt anyone but occasionally things do get hectic."
Have you ever threatened to quit?
"Oh yeah! We have huge rows and threaten to leave all the time, but we always sort it out in the end. There's always one of us who'll try and calm the others down. But I've been standing in the middle of a row and been whacked!"
Is fame what you expected?
"I've always been a dreamer - I'm the worst in the band for that. As clichéd as it sounds, when I meet a fan on the street and they give me genuine positive feedback it's the best feeling ever. And I love giving them a hug."
Have you made loads of money now?
"Well, the royalties haven't come yet - that's not till next year. But put it like this, I'm better off than I was two years ago when I was on the dole! We're not rolling in it yet but hopefully when the royalties come in it'll be quite good."
What will you buy with your money?
"I'd like a big castle on a hill. It would be quite nice to have some scantily dressed male servants!"
Do loads of guys chat you up now you're famous?
"They don't really exactly chat me up but more people will come up and say hello and maybe want a kiss. Guys are more reserved towards me than before because all the baggage of being famous. I think boys think twice about chatting me up - I don't know why!"
We heard you bullied Stephen from Boyzone. What do you think of him?
"Oh Stephen's no nice - he's such a cutie. The first time we met him we were all being really loud and cheeky, but we'we met them a few times since and they're all really down to eatrh lads. Stephen's so sweet - maybe it's a cover though, I think he must be a real devil underneath. But hey, there's nothing wrong with that!"
You've met Robbie Williams - what do you think of him?
"Robbie's very funny, he's a real party animal. He definitely lives up to this reputation. When bands mix it's really nice to have a chat about what's going on and just be yourself. Magazines always want you to say you fancy someone but when you get together it's not really like that."
Who's the rudest famoust person you've met?
"The only person we didn't get with was Mark Morrison. I think he needs a good friend and a big hug. I don't know him so I can't make a judgement on whether he's rude or not but he's been up to some crazy stuff. He needs someone to be real with him."
Who would you rather go out with - Peter Andre or Chris Evans?
"None of them are really my type. I've met Peter Andre and he's quite sweet but he's not up my street at all. I like Chris Evan's wit - I find him very funny. I met him recently and I really liked him. Maybe I'd go out with him for a laugh!"
When we asked Emma Spice about the outrageous things she'd done she said we should ask you that! Why?
"I don't know what she's referring to! But I'm always acting like a nutty fruitcake! I don't consider myself to be outrageous, - I'm just me. Sometimes things come out of my mouth and I do stuff but that's just what I'm like. If people find that outrageous - they ain't seen nothing yet!"
