Notes

Entrants choose a faculty to apply to when applying (i.e. before they roll any dice) and then stay in this faculty until they graduate.

All graduates (succeeding characters) roll once on each table except the special table. Those who persevere but fail to graduate roll on the level 2 and level 1 table, but takes an extra level 1 skill.

Skills in bold are Cascade skills

All characters achieving special roll once on the special table regardless of faculty.

Skills are rolled in order of the tables presented and duplicates are re rolled, with the exception of cascade skills where another member of the cascade is chosen.

All attending medical faculty must gain Medical at at least level 2, i.e. if another is rolled for the honours option then medical is automatic at level 2.

Cascade options must be chosen before rolling the next table.

A student who fails to persevere rolls 1D3 for the number of years finished. 1= 1 level one skill, 2/3=one level 1 and one level 1 and one level 2 skill.

Description

This set of tables represents one term spent in an institution of higher education, and is based on the Scottish university system.
Characters gain an unusually high number of skills but this is intended to represent the fact that the student is in a career of full time learning rather than acquiring skills as part of a job.
The skills are intended to represent the subjects taken during the course appropriate to each faculty (comprising several departments). Each student takes three subjects in first year, carries two on to second year and then one on to honours level (majors in it).
The special table represents the other activities undertaken during study.
