Skinless Bio
SKINLESS
Skinless was shit onto the worthless face of humanity in 1992. The band has released two demos, Demo 94, and Swollen Heaps which have received underground acclaim for their originally brutal sound. Three songs from 1996's Swollen Heaps demo are also featured on Frozen Dawns' "Cold Still Earth" compilation. In 1997 Skinless recorded six songs which are featured on a three way split CD entitled "Common Ground" which is currently available on Step Up Records (Albany, NY). Two songs from this release also appear on United We Stand, Divided We Fall a double CD compilation of Upstate NY bands. In the spring of 1998 Skinless entered Max Trax recording studios to record their full length debut CD "Progression Towards Evil" for a popular US underground deathmetal label. The album was recorded but an unusual course of events forced the band to sever ties with the label before the record was pressed. To avoid a delayed release of "Progression Towards Evil", Skinless again recruited the help of Albany based label Step Up to press 1000 CD's. These 1000 CD's are intended for the purpose of promotion and to seek out label interest for further pressings, licensing and distribution. "Progression Towards Evil" is destined to be an underground classic, featuring slicingly heavy music complimented by deep barks of brutality. One listen to "Progression Towards Evil" will leave its audience terrified. Any labels, distros, zines, or booking agents interested in further information can contact the band at the address or phone number below for an immidiate reply.
