My Observations As to Cause of Hatred

At the outset let it be noted that hating is injurious to those who hate. I was prompted to create this page based on an article that my son mailed me on August, 12, 1999. Reading the article angered me so that I emailed the putrid fellow who was allowed to get an airing for such sick crap - read on to gain an appreciation of his masterpiece.

It seems that hating is widely practiced. The haters who claim to be above it all, cunningly get to point fingers at others. Here is a chap who unashamedly vents his spleen, his vile hatred of a family at a time where a disaster befell yet another member of the family. An American family that truly gave so much to inspire heroism in all of us. Some folks being envious and not being capable of measuring up to the challenge; "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country", John Fitzgerald Kennedy, a real life Profile in Courage type hero.

The Hater Chap's Piece

"A conversation in Hell" by John Podhoretz (with his mug showing) appearing in the New York Post - Wednesday, July 21, 1999.

Joe! Joe Kennedy! Come on in. Nice to see you. Are you enjoying the air conditioning? I know it gets pretty hot out there.
Where are you these days, in the eight circle where you're concerned. After all, the eight circle is for the fraudelant and the ninth for the treacherous. You sure were fraudulent when you and Mayor Daley fix the 1960 presidential election for your son Jack wern't you? And you were pretty treacherous most of your life, what with your compulsive philandering and double dealing.
But listen, that's what I love about you. I can't tell you how it filled me with pride just to know you back when you were America's ambassador to England, saying all these nice things about Hitler, doing everything you could to prevent Jewish emmigration from Nazi Germany. Thousands of Jews died because of you. That was quite a demonic performance!
I always knew you had it in you. I don't remember a soul I was happier to procure when you called on me back in 1912? You knew exactly what you wanted. You wanted wealth, fame and power, and you wanted to be a creator of a dynasty that would rule America.
It did my ancient heart a bit of good to hear just how ruthless you could be. And you were such a tough negotiator it was fun doing business with you.
It seemed like you thought of everything. You wanted access to power, and for you that meant marrying the daughter of the mayor of Boston. Done; you and Rose Fitzgerald were joined two years later. You wanted to remain attractive and alluring to the world's most glamorous women. Done; You became a motion picture executive and had affairs with Gloria Swanson and many other stars and starlets. You wanted wealth beyond the wildest dreams of any other Irish Bostonian. Done; you were a millionaire many times over, and lost none of it when the Great Depression hit. You wanted social position. Done; you were given the most glamorous job in government at the time - Ambassador to the Court of St. James.
And you wanted your son to be president. Done as well. You dotted the "i"s, you crossed the "t"s, you had everything in your power to maximize your part of the deal and minimize mine. Like all mortals whose most distinctive quality is their unbounded sense of self, you believed your soul was so valuable that it was worth the exchange.
You got everything you wanted. But when I make a deal for a soul like yours - so unyielding in its sense of entitlement, so sure that the world should bow before it, so damned tough - it's raw to me, like uncooked meat. I need to season it, to pound on it a bit so that it becomes tender, brown it a bit on the fire before I'm ready to put it in the infernal oven. So if I let that son of yours that you wanted to become president make it to the White House, it would have meant that the supper I intended to make of your soul indigestable. He simply had to go. And that hurt, didn't it, Joe, when you're namesake went down in World War II?
You said so little about your daughter in the contract that I felt free to toy with them a little. I made poor Rosemary a little slow - but, for Pete's sake, you didn't have to lobotomize her. Joe! that was all of your doing! And you seemed to be getting over young Joe's death so well that I felt I needed to remind of it by sending your daughter Kathleen down in another plane crash a few years later.
Oh! this trouble hurt. But it infuriated you too, because you thought I had reneged on the deal! Remember that conversation, right there on the beach in Hyannis Port? I reminded you there was Jack, beautiful Jack, the one you rode so hard. He was so like you, so hungry for Hollywood beauty, so driven - wouldn't it be even sweeter if it were Jack?
You were triumphant with Jack's victory and all that I tried to let you know that things were not going to work out like you planned again. You had a grandson born in the White House in August 1963, remember? Little Patrick? I took him after two days, just to get you prepared for November 22.
I said I'd make Jack president. I didn't say he'd finish out the term. And I didn't say you'd get another. That was your mistake, trying again with Bobby. That was a violation of the contract. You only get one.
And you didn't listen, you just wouldn't listen, you were still intent on the idea that Teddy might do it - Teddy the least of your boys. But I have news for you. That Chappaquiddick business? He called on me to save him from a manslaughter charge. He'll be keeping you company when his time is up.
Your time was up wasn't it, after Chappaquiddick. You died a few months later, came down here. But you know what? Your soul wasn't done yet. You were still a little too tough.
So every time you think the deal is done, every time you think your family is on its way back to glory, I just have to do something. Like I did this weekend with your grandson John.
You understand, don't you, Joe? Its because I'm hungry. And when I'm hungry. Joe, the ends justify the means. See why we are so alike?
Yes. Oh Yes. I think you are ready now.

Without a moral compass as a guide some folks are likely to do or say or do anything their little hearts desire.

I'm concerned with a belief system that will eventually enslave us. More and more laws are being pushed through the system to control our thinking - remember the Soviet Union days - children were said to be spying on their parents. Children must be taught to be happy and be accepting of lifestyles strange. Everything that was improper by the commies over there is becoming properly pushed by the commies among us.

Monday August 16 2:22 AM ET - Australia Recruited Nazi Scientists - Newspaper SYDNEY, Australia (Reuters) - Nazi scientists, including members of Adolf Hitler's elite SS, were secretly brought to Australia after World War Two to work on government defense projects and research, an Australian newspaper said Monday. The Sydney Morning Herald said the scientists were brought to Australia as part of a plan by the United States and Britain to prevent Russia from recruiting German scientists. The newspaper said thousands of previously classified Australian documents showed 31 Nazi Party members were recruited between 1946 and 1951. "Some were given security clearances for weapons development and rocket research." The newspaper did not name any of the scientists and the Australian government was not immediately available for comment. The Herald said least 127 scientists were brought to Australia at a time when Germans were barred from entering the country. It said 31 were Nazi Party members and 12 belonged to other Nazi groups. Six were members of the SS -- Hitler's brownshirt stormtroopers. The Nazi-hunting Simon Wiesenthal Center in Israel had confirmed that seven of the 127 scientists matched the names of suspects wanted by the U.N. War Crimes Commission, but could not say for certain they were the same people, it said. "We do not yet possess enough details to be able to verify whether they are the same persons admitted to Australia," said Efraim Zuroff, director of the center, according to the Herald. The Herald said Australia was invited by Britain to "bid" for German scientists in a top-secret cable dated September 18, 1945. The British government cable said Britain had decided to recruit "a limited number of German scientists and technicians...on defense research work in order to develop military potential at Germany's expense," it said. A cable from the Australian High Commission in London 11 months later said Britain had selected 120 German scientists, the newspaper said. A High Commission cable two months later warned that Russia was about to abandon an agreement not to recruit scientists with Nazi backgrounds and was kidnapping scientists, it said. "Both the U.S. and UK are planning to prevent this moving of German scientists and technicians eastwards since it would increase significantly the war potential of Russia," it said. Scientists brought to Australia under the scheme, code-named "Operation Matchbox," included the head of the top-secret Messerschmitt jet aircraft factory and a nuclear physicist engaged in atomic research for the German army, said the Herald. It said two of the scientists worked on Australia's guided-missile rocket tests at Woomera in the 1950s, 10 worked in government defense laboratories, while others worked for the government's top scientific organization. -----------------------------------------------------------
