QROWN Biography
Qrown is:
- Winston Lim (Vocals & Bass)
- Stefan Low (Guitars & Bass)
- Keng Lee (Guitars)
- Steven Goh (Drums)
WINSTON
Winston is the eldest (and shortest!) in the band. He is also the founder
member of Qrown when he first suggested to Jason Schwarz to form a band along
with Darren.... way back in 1990. Winston started playing drums in the Ambassadors
when the band first took off. After recruiting enough members, Winston finally
took the role of the frontmen after a memorable performance in FGAKL's Youth
Talentime, where he did some stage acts where no other competitors in the
Talentime dare tread. Often regarded as the daring one, Winston comes alive on
stage. But off stage, he's quite nice, I suppose.
STEFAN
Stefan is Qrown's guitarist. Stefan was one of the original members roped
into the Ambassadors (later renamed Qrown) by Winston. When Winston invited him
to join the band, Stef could hardly play 3 chords.... but that's all history.
He is an accomplished guitarist now.
STEVEN
Steven (or Nuno, as we call him) is a Video CD buff. He spends his time watching
VCD or downloading songs from the Internet. His hard disk is doomed. But he
has a superb sense of timing, being the drummer of Qrown. A basketball fan,
particularly Chicago Bulls, he's known for drumming wearing basketball shorts.
He's open for endorsement. Has a terrific sense of humour. Spends a lot of
his time listening to Oasis, which is amongst his favourite bands of all time.
KENG
Keng is the chief songwriter of Qrown. (Well, the rest do contribute once in a
while, but here's the main man!). Keng played the 6-string for Qrown since he
joined the band at about the same time as Stefan. Known for his rockstar charms,
Keng's quite a nice chap indeed. Outspoken and friendly, you can bet your bottom
dollar to see him in IRC pretty often. So, if you're free, hopefully, you can
meet him in IRC. I'm sure he'll entertain you. He's the metal maniac of the
band, crazy about loud metal music both secular and Christian.
