AAAAAH! There's a horrible bug on your shoulder! AAAAAH! ... Just kidding! |
Yakko: And remember: Yakko spelled backwards is Okkay! |
Ciao America! |
Ciao-abunga! |
(singing) Clap on! Clap off! Clap on! Clap off! Show's over! |
Funeel (?) |
Yakko: Good night Wakko. Wakko: Good night Yakko. Good night Dot. Dot: Good night Wakko. Good night Yakko. Yakko: Good night Dot. Goodnight Elvis. Elvis: Thank you very much. But don't let anyone know I'm here. |
Goodnight etc. (as above) Yakko: Good night Dot. Good night John Boy. John Boy (whoever that is): Let me out of this tower!!! |
Goodnight nurse! |
As the Warners wave and throw kisses at a cheering crowd below, a voice
off camera says: Hey Warner brothers (and the Warner sister), you just
completed another great show. What are you gonna do now? Yakko: We're going to - sleep! |
Dot: I can't think of the ending of the show. Yakko: I can't think of anything else! |
Dot: I still think they make me look like Sheena Easton. (She's wearing Dracula's dentures as ear rings. Don't ask.) |
Yakko: I'm Yakko. Wakko: I'm Wakko. Dot: And I'm cute! |
(in sequence, suiting word to action:) Lather - Rinse - Repeat! [This was also used as a moral once they, according to Yakko, were short of time. People get paid to write these?] |
Yakko: Look who's staying with us. Wakko: Our Special Friend! Okay, I'll try to explain this one. In the cartoon "Plane pals" the Warners meet a businessman who they declare a Special Friend and proceed to drive out of his mind (and the plane). And at the end of the show he's with them in the tower... |
Merry Christmas! [end of a Christmas Special. Two, in fact...] |
Dot: Set three extra places. Yakko and Wakko: We're coming over for dinner! |
Shamiel! (??) |
Sit, Ubu! Sit! |
Yakko: (Sniff sniff) There's that smell again! (They look down and chorus:) Yeeeew!! |
Wakko: Wanna see me make bubbles with my spit? Yakko: Ah... maybe later! |
Wakko: Wanna see me make bubbles with my spit? Yakko: Sure do! In fact that's the theme of our next show. Dot: So don't miss it!! |
(singing) We are the very models of cartoon individuals! (A line from the musical parody "HMS Yakko" earlier in the show) |
As suggested above and in the main file, the Warners some times let someone else take over the job of ending the show, usually with one of the character's standard lines. Here are the ones I have seen so far:
Bobby: Hey! Stay coo! |
Mindy: Okay, I love you. Bye-bye! |
Pesto: That's it!! |
Pinky: Zort! |
Runt: It's over. It's deffinly over. |
Skippy: Spew!! |
Slappy: It's over! Go away! |
Survey ladies: Do you want to take a survey? |
The last one may need a little explanation again. In "Survey
ladies" it's the Warners who get pestered for a change, and there is
no prize for guessing what question the guest stars keep repeating.
