Tattoo Of Our Son (Tattoo Of The Sun)

Alright she beat me to it :-)  I knew one of us was going to get a parody done for Tattoo of the Sun, possibly the hardest 3eb song to parody since no verse repeats (unlike say Jumper).  Well she just rocks cause she conquered the challenge first :-)

I believe everything you say cuz I'm not frightened

by the way you are so so I followed you

I'd never lose my way, so glad you never let me frown

All those fences we climbed to escape the past we've known

Yours and mine

And with the ease of the cool breeze

We slow down and we glide high

In the summer sky baby

Now you could speak about everything

Always no room for my voice

When all I hear is you thumpin the speakers of the car

Ring there goes the phone and you trail off again on

What the caller told you

So I went and trashed myself at the bar

Confused for nothing wishing you were there

I'm so embarrassed cuz it's you who comes to take care of me

Shambling home again with you to lead

Its not the place I wanna go

And I'm mad and you and I'm mad at me

Fighting endlessly not a kind word to say

Till your amber beads of wisdom come and

I want to write them down

Just the way you said it so I could keep it always, always

I can't forget the smell of the breeze at midnight

Staying up late to avoid the sun

You'd touch the tattoo of our son

On your warm belly that carried our baby for a while

And let my old letter jacked round you fold

All these things so much better than gold

And in this beauty I could not go any further because

I suddenly remember

We can't live this way forever

I see daylight never wanna catch you in a lie

Not until now

I feel somehow

I felt the passing of lies fly by

What will you do when I find out that

This feeling you had is though

I need to know cuz

I'll never stop loving you

And it's times like this that I dread

When theres nothing left to say and

There's nothing left to be said

And it makes me sad
