BLUE

The NEW ALBUM from Third Eye Blind

In stores November 23 so mark you calendar goddamnit!!!  This album is going to so rock and it will sure as hell make my Thanksgiving.

"Anything," or "I'll Give You Anything" is the first single off Blue.  I am currently looking for an mp3 of this song so feel free to hook me up with one.   It will be released to radio stations on November 1.  Now here is how to get 3eb played on the radio stations.  Below is a list of radio stations (I chose the NY area because that is where I live) but if you want your radio station listed on this site go right ahead and Caro1ine80@aol.com them to me.  Just be sure to include the city for where the station comes from.

New York Area stations (this includes New York City and the Hudson Valley, I am kinda smack in the middle of them so I get both types of stations)

92.3 K-Rock which is the only rock staiton in NY since the other great ones went talk or country.   They don't have the best history with 3eb, in fact I have gotten into a fight with one of the DJs on the station about his constant insulting of 3eb.  I haven't heard 3eb on this station in forever.   And the only song I've heard of 3eb's is Graduate, which at one point was played out.  But we can all change this.   Between 12 and 1 every day (eastern time... this is a NY station) they have "Out to Lunch" which is an all request lunch hour.   You can email them your request for Anything (sorry I have no idea what the email addy is, you will have to go to the webpage listed above) or you can call them at 1-888-310-1999.    They also have thier daily countdown called the Sick Six at Six.  Let's get them on there too.  Let's change their opinions about 3eb!!!!

Yesterday (October 26) was a breaking day in K-Rock history in terms of 3eb.  When I was driving down to pick up the kids I babysit, they played Graduate for the first time I have heard since like Xmas.  I just blasted it and pissed the hell out of every driver on Bedford Road.   I also heard from Laura that they played Anything.   I also heard from the mailing list that it was played at the K-Rock in LA too.   So I guess rock songs are shipped out to the K-Rocks first.  I called in today and requested it, but my request was too late to get played.... so as soon as I am done with these file transfers I am going to ask Julie Slater when she will play it so I have a tape ready to roll.

95.5 WPLJ   This station will for sure play Anything because they play a ton of 3eb already.  I will hear Jumper, How's It Going To Be, and Semi-Charmed Life all within a few hours of each other.  That's why I think that this station kicks some serious ass and it's the default in my car.   It also kicks ass because they play no rap or teenybopper crap.  Alright they have an all request lunch hour too and on November 1 and onward, I will be calling requesting Anything.  You can also join me by calling 1-800-321-WPLJ.

Z100   This is New York's #1 hit music station.  It's a top 40 station.  They too have times when they play request in their INteractive Lunch (from 12-1) and their Interactive 9 at 9.  You can call in your requests by calling 1-800-242-0100

92.7/96.9 WRRV is a kick ass station that unfortunately dosen't come through at my house but if I drive about 20 minutes north it comes through fine.   Since I don't listen to it that much as much as I would love to I really have no idea about their take on listener requests.   But go to your website and check it out.   This is a Hudson Valley NY station that I believe is based out of Poughkeepsie.

Another Poughkeepsie station is K104 (no website yet but the domain name k104.com is registered).   This station is the reason that I met 3eb in the first place so as much as I disrespect all the teenybopper music they play, I give kudos to them for throwing that all ages party in the first place (WRRV also had one that night but it was 21+ and I was 17 then....).   They don't play much 3eb these days cause their airwaves are dominated by the Bullshit boys and other teeny crap like that.   They don't have an 800 # yet but if you really want to call them their # is (914)-828-WSPK.

There are several other stations but these are the maiin ones that come through in Boringville and that I listen to most.  Feel free to get your station on there.   All I need for the station is their website, name, and 800 number to call in requests.   If there is not an 800 number don't put it here since this page is viewed by people nationwide and I don't want to be responsible for running up people's phone bills.  If they don't have an 800 # you can still give me the station's # and what not but don't expect a nationwide calling.... an email address would also work.   As I get stations in from friends all over the place I will develop a list by region.
