New Tour (New Girl)

I have been trying to parody this song since I got the American Pie soundtrack and I have had tons of trouble because a parody without the original lyrics is hard to write. And since there were never official lyrics released to this song, I had to take fans opinions. Leigh (Careening Through The Universe) was nice enough to put them on her site (well a decent interpritation) and it helped me a ton. Thanks!!! And thanks to all that sent out interpritations to a 3eb mailing list. I woulda never been able to write all these lyrics down since most of the time when I heard the song, I was driving.

I orignially had plans to write "New Car" since I was having a ton of trouble with my old car when the song was first released. But I couldnt fit the lyrics in and eventually I did get that new car that I wanted so I don't need to jinx myself by writing a parody about a car dying on me!

I've been going through 3eb withdrawyl symptoms lately since I've heard the same mateiral as I did in 1997 and I haven't been to a show since June 6, and a show less than 13 hours away would be nice. And I know that I speak for many when I say that they need to tour again (I can copy and paste from IMs if it's really necessary) so the other day I was signing "I Want a new tour just like everybody wants" and I took it from there. Enjoy the parody and eventually we will get our wish of a new tour. Just hang in there everyone.
