Updates
As I update 3eb Parody Palace, I will keep a log of what I do on this page. Since this is the very beginning of 3eb Parody Palace don't expect much yet. Also, I am open to all suggestions on how to make this page better. So if you have any ideas or any comptuer knowledge, drop me a message any way (see the contact info on the about page). November 23, 1999-- Wow I actually update twice within 10 days (late... sorry I had to do that) of each other. I'm actualy sitting here dying of shock myself. Well today is the release of 3eb's GREAT album Blue. As I sit here looking at the lyrics figuring out what song to parody, my partner in crime Johanna already cranked out a hysterical version of Anything. Before you read any farther, if you do not already have a copy of Blue, RUN do not walk to the nearest cd store and get it like NOW. Otherwise you will be hounded with lyrics quizzes ::coughkateycough:: and I am not afraid to give you one!
Anyways not too many site updates, I just have to jump on the bandwagon and change my little site around on the day that Blue comes out. New parodies... Anyone from Johanna and A Minute Late from me. Keep checking back for more since I am tackling Blue song by song.
Still need someone to tackle my links page... the bribe is even more handsome because I now have a CD burner. I will throw in a live CD and a copy of my radio interview collection. I just don't have the patience to deal with my links page right now.
Well finally getting some sleep as soon as I am done with this, I got up at 8 fuckin 30 this morning so I could be the first at Sam Goody to buy Blue. Now that is getting to me right now.
November 14, 1999-- Alright Blue comes out in less than 2 weeks.... YEAH BABY.... But I am kinda sad today because I am NOT doing something 3eb related (like buying Third Eye Blind for the first time or seeing them in concert) like I have during the past 2 years, so I decided to actually add a new song to satisfy my craving.
However I do have some bad news about the song I am parodying, Slow Motion. The corporate bastards at Elektra do not approve of the lyrics (Hey I am COMPLETELY against any form of lyrics sensorship and I can call them whatever I want to) and it may not be on the album according to the article on Rolling Stone's website (if you want the article... this is not the site to look for it at... try one of the regular 3eb sites!) because of the music industry being the first to blame for the Columbine incident. Since there is a campaign to save Slow Motion I will be participating on this site. IF you have any objections to that, that's your problem.
The parody of SM is hardly as controversial as the real song but it really fit the the tune of the song. I will explain that more on the parody. I plan on working on this site a lot more now that there is actually some new material. I also expect more submissions come Blue.
Still looking for someone to tackle my links page since I will never have the patience to do so. Handsome reward to that patient person.
Hang in there until the new album comes out. If you are interested in some of the new songs, I have them on mp3. If you would like them please get on the latest version of Instant Messanger and add Caro1ine80 to your list so you can get them from me. I'm also open to all suggestions on how to make this page better and change around the format since it has been this way since launch. I'm trying to attract more visitors since I sometimes have a feeling that this site hardly exists. I think the sex songs do the best job at doing that :-)
Well keep up with this page since it will have a lot more material in the coming months.
October 1, 1999-- Nothing new in terms of site news, I just added my exclusive 3eb calendar section. This has nothing to do with 3eb Parody Palace, but if you would like to keep track of the year 2000 with the boys, this is your chance to do so. All the details are on the section.
September 24, 1999-- OMG I am either the queen of slacking off or the queen of procrastination. I mean seriously I meant to put up these new songs on September 4 and it's September 25. Oops my bad. Haven't had much of a chance to touch this since I am in school full time and working 35 hour weeks. Plus I live at home with 3 people who are totally unaware this page even exists... so I kinda have to be discreet. Anyways heard tons of news on the new 3eb album and it is going to fuckin rock. I think that once it's out (I just wish they would confirm a title so I can refer to the title but they have to be procrastinators like I am) i will definitely start to pick apart this page once again adding a ton of new material. The only parodies that I am adding from here to the new album will not be mine. Hopefully I will get a chance to do a bit of reformatting since as of next week my little website has been up for 6 months (sure as hell dosen't seem it). But if you expect a lot, you will be disappointed. I do what I can on this without it being too obvious to my parents. (If they found out about this and saw some of the content, they would take my computer and throw it out the window.)
September 4, 1999-- It's about time that I touch this page again... I feel more distant somehow but I have been so busy lately and whenever I update I always get frustrated with all the HTML work... so I will try to update as much as I can. Over the past 2 months, I have been ripping my hair out trying to tackle New Girl. It's been next to impossible to parody cause the lyrics were never officially released by Universal or Elektra. Well last night I finally got it done and I am so proud of myself right now for doing so. As for future updates, since I have already written many parodies off Third Eye Blind (two of several songs), I may not do a new one until the new album is out. My future updates will be reformatting stuff around on the page. Right now I am working on a link list again since many of the links are now defunct and so many new great 3eb sites have opened up. If you don't see your link on my page, be patient and when I get aroud to tackling the HTML that goes with the link page (the one thing I like about adding the songs is there's not much HTML involved and AOL Press does it for me).
By the time 3eb's new album is released, this page will be over 6 months old and hopefully I will re-format the graphics and what not, that is if I can figure out how. I don't think I will ever condiser myself an expert at this website design stuff.
I had 3 parodies submitted to me, thanks again for the submissoins cause that's what keeps this page running. These songs are not easy so it's not like I can update whenever 3eb news is released as most 3eb sites can. And to all who wish to submit stuff. Anyways to all who are waiting for the new album, be patient, it will come November 9 I think if the date does not change again. July 28, 1999-- Oh my what a procrastinator I am. I'm seeing an excellent turnaround for submitted parodies but I was actually waiting for the confirmed lyrics to 3eb's new song "New Girl" (on the American Pie soundtrack) before I updated cause I wanted to get the currently in the works "New Car" up. But I couldn't wait anymore to update, it's been over a month since I last worked on this site. Added to my parodies are "Meower," "Stay Out Late," and "One Of Those Lazy Days" (which actually I never linked to on my last update....oops!). Added to the other parodies section are "Old Fart Life," "Lobster Sexing Life" and "Bed." I also added song submission rules, not much but just the little things like spell checking so it saves me the work. If you do submit to me, be sure to review the rules first. And if you have the confirmed lyrics to New Girl (which I woulda asked the band about had I been going to Paso Robles which I cannot due to parents who are lazy with their frequent flyer miles) please share them with me. I wanna get New Car up ASAP. I've noticed this site gaining popularity due to talk of it on 3eb mailing lists....and I don't mind that at all :-) Just I still wanna know who's coming and what not. So be sure to sign my guestbook and slambook. I have too many new songs to put up to work on the links but I should be getting to that shortly. If you want your link on my page, let me know. June 23, 1999-- Alright it's been almost a month since I've logged my updating of 3eb Parody Palace but I have been chipping away at it little by little. I've been working at it since I got back from my little 3eb extravaganza in Atlanta and Raleigh. Well the site's growing in terms of songs and I'm finally getting a turnaround like I've been wanting to get since I opened this site up. I still want to see the turnaround I got for my book though. Anyways 6 new songs... 2 of mine and the rest submitted (FINALLY). I also added a slambook as well as my guestbook, which I still want everyone to sign. And i've been changing my about page here and there to perfect it. Well that's about it for now. Rock on and keep visiting 3eb Parody Palace! :-)
May 24, 1999-- Alright Johanna the other 3eb parody chick (mad props for all the stuff you wrote for the book) wrote a killer parody about the Star Wars craze, so I put it up. It was a London parody, which I thought of the trouble I am going through with in terms of getting to the upcoming Atlanta 3eb show which I kinda HAVE to be at since 3eb and Marvy 3 (my second fave band) are playing TOGETHER!!!!!!! Anyways, I wrote a parody about my troubles. I also know of several new 3eb sites that people have been working on and launching. Well if I know of the site, I will gladly add the link, but if I don't know of the site, well for obvious reasons I can't add the link. If you have a 3eb related site or another (an other links category will be coming) that you would like me to add, let me know the URL and site name and I will gladly add it. In the mean time keep coming to the site and I should be giving it updates at least every other week. When I have some new material to put up on the site, I will gladly put it up. But without new material can mean very little updates. So if you want to see the site updated, write me some parodies. I also have a new way for people to get in touch with me now that I have my own AOL account and my mail is no longer loaded with porn mail. If you see me on, feel free to IM me. May 13, 1999-- Alright I have been a bad girl. I wrote a new parody for How's It Going To Be about a month ago and put it up.... well I never made a note of it here. So that's still a new parody basically about how much I hated school.... which I am out of now.... whoo hoo!! Alright anyways.... that's new and so is Gods Of Sex... one I wrote when my friend and I got really horny over 3eb (that whole band is fuckin fine.... what straight girl would NOT get horny over them!!!!)
I also took down the Happy Aniversary 3eb thing since it's been more than a month since April 8. I still have it saved and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it :-)
A lot of minor things have been changed now that I have the chance to sit in my bedroom late at night and update this page. I now have a webring page because I did not like all the clutter at the bottom of the page. I changed the about page a bit, and I added icons to the links and parodies page.
I am still in need of some more parodies for the other parodies section. Come on, I know you guys can write them. I had a wonderful turnout of 3eb parodies for the book I gave Stephan in Bloomington. I would like to see the same turnout here. If you wrote a 3eb parody, please please email the thing to me.
Well I now have time to play around with this site.... it's officially summer here which means I have time and there will be NO more parodies that I vent about my school in since I transferred the hell out of that dump.

April 10, 1999--I finally took down that TRL thing. I still have no idea whether or not 3eb made it on the countdown but it's no biggie if they didn't. I have never had much respect for MTV let alone TRL... which in my opinion is the worst show that could ever exist. Yeah they want the people to have power but the people that have power are teenyboppers. So there are nonstop videos by Boys Sucking Boys, Lip Sync, Britney Spears, and all those horrible rap artists that don't deserve careers at all. So I die of shock whenever I see 3eb on MTV.
I also added a little happy aniversary section as a tribute to Third Eye Blind. I basically thanked them for two wonderful years and mentioned how November 14 is officially my 3eb day.
I still need some more stuff to update on this thing. I know that a lot of you have written 3eb parodies but I just want them up on 3eb Parody Palace. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE email them to meso that I can put them up.
I will be doing more updates on this site once I have material to update. I plan on writing more 3eb parodies once I am out of school, so there will be parodies for Tattoo of the Sun and One of Those Christmas Days. I'd also like to do some for their new material and I have been asked where a Gorgeous parody is, but I do not know those lyrics therefore I cannot parody them.
Well continue coming to my site. I am pleased with the results so far but I would like to see more. Webmasters, I would really appreciate a link to this page. It's one of the only ways I will get traffic here.
I really would like to make 3eb Parody Palace the best that it can possibly be. I'm thinking of changing the standard black background to one that Angelfire has to offer. But I am not sure how it would look. If you have any other suggestions for me in that line, please please let me know.
April 4, 1999--well I finally got home and I changed my pic on the About Me page so that it is not blurry with most browsers. It's also a better picture of me. Tiny little update!
