Demeter glared at the sun, drinking it's warmth, closing her eyes. She was lying down on top of an old Chevy pickup, paws up in the air, basking in the sun. How beautiful a day to just lie around and do nothing.
"Excuse me, mind if I barge in on your meditation?" Munkustrap inquired.
"Sure!" She always had time for Munkustrap. He always listened, and was there for her.
"So, how have you been?" Munkus asked.
"Normal. You?" She put her paw on his cheek.
