Sue's Story
I am 57 years old and was first diagnosed with Lyme when I lived in Chappaqua, New York, in the early 1980's. Two of my three children and my dog have Lyme. I moved to South Carolina in 1995. I would have joint pain and request a Lyme test(much more expensive here), and if the titer was high would tell the doctor what antibiotic I should use, and the symptoms would disappear.
However, this September I experienced such knee pain that it was difficult to walk, and a month of antibiotics did nothing. I was told I had degenerative osteoarthritis and would need surgery eventually. I know it is Lyme! I do have an appointment with a Dr. Roth in Savannah, on the 9th. He is knowledgeable. Hoping for a cure, Sue
