Remembering John Starks

I've been thinking alot this offseason about how much I miss John Starks. He was my favorite player on the Knicks before he got traded. He brought so much energy, emotion, and heart to the Knicks. I think John Starks deserves a page like this. So any of you reading this, send me an email about John Starks, something nice to remeber his career by and I will post it on this page. Hey, great idea. Starks wasn't just a Knick. He apitomized what a knick should be. Tanacious, vicious, and played great defense. I think when the Knicks traded him, they traded one of their own family. . . If Oaks was the backbone, than Starks was spirit.

Like many Knick fans, John Starks was also my favorite player. He energized the whole team, he was the one who cared the most. While everyone else relished in their money, John Starks never forgot where he came from and what got him there. The Knick games are no longer as exciting to watch without John's spirit and tenacity. John was certainly the heart and soul of the Knicks.
