Angie's Kewl Soaps

Angie's Chocolate Covered Cherry Soap :)

20 oz. water
7.49 oz. lye

14.5 oz Palm Kernel Oil
10 oz. Coconut Oil
20 oz. Olive Oil
8 oz. Cocoa Butter
1 oz. Sweet Almond Oil (for superfatting with, and added at trace)
1 oz. Cherry FO (added at trace)

water/lye and oil temps 98 F each

Before hand:
I added a tablespoon of Titanium Dioxide to my lye water. Note: I did not like the effect of the Titanium Dioxide, although it did produce a very white bar, it also left behind white spots that I would rather have not had on my finished bars, but I need to practice some more with the Titanium Dioxide.
Next I took some M&P and colored it pink. I put it into a plastic container and let it cool, afterwards I cut it into tiny chunks, I added these tiny chunks to my soap base at trace.

Then after my soap had cured for about a week, I took some M&P and added a tiny square of bakers chocolate to it, and a touch of cherry fo, and drizzled the M&P over my soap bars, then I put masking tape around my cut bars of soap, kind of time consuming you guys, and added more of the M&P to give it a more even look. To be honest, I'm not crazy about it, but it was only my first time ever attempting to do that, so I'm sure that I will get better as I practice with this over time.
As far as the bar of soap itself goes, it's really nice. It's soft and silky to the skin (I hope I'm not sounding arrogant!!) but it is really nice. I think it's the cocoa butter in it, and the cherry fo makes this bar of soap smell a lot like a chocolate covered cherry, hence the name! :)
I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks :)
