What's the surname of your tour Manager? Her name is Nina Buetti. Nina used to work for our record company, Jive and now she's working with us full-time. I usually end up in the dog house with her because I disappear off to clubs. When I get back she says ' OK, you're in trouble!
Which band member has a waterbed? That'd be Brian. He doesn't have a waterbed now though because he's just moved into my flat and we went shopping to find a new futon for him!
What are the extra tracks on Quit Playin' Games? Well let's see. There should be Give Me YouR Heart, a remix of Nobody But You, and a song called If You Lay Down Beside Me, which I sang by myself two years ago. I can't hit the high notes anymore - my voice has broken so I had to drop it by two octaves!
How many times have you appeared on TOTP? I think it's five. We did We've got it goin' on, Get Down.... I'll Never... Anywhere... and Quit... (The answer is six times - twice with Childliners and once for each single since Get Down)
What's the strangest BSB merchandise? The Pillows! Do you like 'em? Our merchandise company come up with the idea. I guess the concept is to snuggle up to your favourite Backstreet Boy, ha ha! You can fall asleep and wake up next to Howie or Nick. Just picture it!
Where did you perform your first UK showcase? Oooooh..... we were in London and, woah, I can't remember.(After a clue about Arnie and a burger......) Ah, yeah Planet Hollywood! To be honest we'd been performing all over Europe beforehand so it all kinda merged together! (With big clue)
Do you know Nick's star sign? Yip, Nicholas Gene Carter is Aquarius. We shared a celebration last year cos my birthday's also in January. We were in New York City. Everyone had a real good time except me - I had a bad case of the flu.
What's the highest position you've reached in the UK singles chart? I wanna say, um (thinks)... NO 2, with Quit Playin' Games. The UK market is a little slow for us. We do well in Germany and we've just been out to Canada - Canada's going nuts for us!
Who supported you on your UK tour last year? We've had so many support acts! Peter Andre did a couple of UK shows with us. He has an excellent voice and he's a great overall performer. He's been talking about doing a Peter Andre/ Backstreet Boys duet or maybe working with one of us. That would be good (The UK support was Personnelle and Montage)
What's the fourth track on your last album? I'll Never Break Your Heart. We know the track listing tooo well, so we love it when we perform new songs as we did on our recent UK tour. I got to sing The Commodores' Brickhouse, which was great.
Does your management company deal with any other bands? Lemme see. There's Trey D, LFO, 'N Sync, and Solid Harmonie who supported us on this UK tour. We've about to play a celeb basketball game in Germany - I'm on 'N Sync's team against Backstreet Boys!
How many Brothers and sisters does Howie have? Five. I've met three: Paulie, Angie and johnny. There are two more somewhere, but I don't know who they are! (You forgot Caroline - Howie himself is fifth!)
Which member of the band once told TOTP his favourite possession was a blanket? Me! My great grandmother made it for me and I called it my blankie. I had it for 14 years. When I turned 15 and was on tour in North Carolina, I left it in bed and one of the maids threw it away. If I could find that maid right now......!
