The division has its monthly meeting in Saint Gregory the Great Church Hall, 242-20 88th Avenue, Bellerose, NY on the 4th Wednesday of each month
(no meetings in July and August).
BELLEROSE in colonial times was known as the Little Plains and much of it was “commons,” publicly owned land for grazing cattle. In the eighteenth century a few roads were laid out and farms established. In 1824 Thomas Brush established a blacksmith shop, prospered, built shops and a factory, and a settlement began. Today Bellerose is a mature community, wholly residential, and retains its suburban character and appearance.
