- Take 1000 and add 40 to it.
- Now add another 1000.

- Now add 10.

Now try this second number trick:

First of all, pick any number from one
to nine. (1-9)

Multiply this number by 2.

Add 5.

Multiply it by 50 (where's that
calculator?)

If you have already had your birthday
this year (2003) add 1753. ? If you
haven't had your birthday in 2003 yet,
add 1752.

Now subtract the four digit year that
you were born.
You should now have a three digit
number:
The first digit of this was your
original number (remember....the number
you picked at the beginning from 1 to 9)
The second two digits are your age.
