Lesson Ten on Ibsen's The Master Builder( See the handout for  the Cooperative Learning Groups)

Aim: How can we make the group work most productively?

Do Now: Describe an experience where you worked with other people either in a work place or in a class setting. If it was a successful experience, why so? If not, why?

Procedures:

1. Share our journal entries.

2.Make a list of the reasons why group work didn't succeed or succeeded.

3. Together with the class, make a list of rules that we should abide by when we work together.

4.Suggestions-- cooperation, respect for each other, listen to each other, participation from all the members, good preparation, control of voice, each role functions individually, time control, presentation , etc.

5. Divide the class into groups of four. Introduce each other and clarify the role each member will play.
