1. Who is Hilda?
2. On the top of page 109, there is a description of Hilda's physical appearance.
Draw the picture in your mind. Does she remind you of a traditional girl
or any other type from the contemporary time?
3. Compare Hilda to Kaia.
4. Do you identify with Hilda? Why or Why not?
5. Make a list of Hilda's personality traits.
6.Is everything Hilda mentioned about the past true? Why or why not?
8. On page 116, Hilda says,"...you said that you would come again in ten
years--like a troll and carry me off--to Spain or some such place. And
you promised you would buy me a kingdom there." Interpret Hilda's
idea of Kingdom.
7. If we must put a label on Hilda, what kind of girl would we call her?
