This chat happened on E-Online.  I missed the first quater of the event... I'll try to get it, I swear!  But so far I can't find it on E-online (what a messy website!).

First Eliza's presentation by E-online:

This week: Buffy's own Faith slays her way into E! Online to chat with YOU!
So far this season, Eliza Dushku has managed to seduce Xander, betray Buffy and almost take out Angel. She's added some plot twists and turns, not to mentions some major spunk to Sunnydale's funky bunch.

But have a little faith--there may just be a happy ending to this slayer's life after all. Find out for yourself when the anti-Buffy joins our chat right now.

She's got plenty to say about working on Buffy. But did you know that this Beantown babe has also graced the big screen with Leo? Yep, she joined DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in This Boy's Life.

And not only has she had the privilege of calling De Niro daddy, Dushku's also played the sassy offspring of Arnold Schwarzenegger in True Lies and Paul Reiser's pouty product of divorce in Bye, Bye Love.

It's quite an impressive résumé for an 18-year-old who happened to accompany her brother on a commercial audition just eight years ago. (She swears the too-good-to-be-true tale is in fact, nonfiction). So, what's next for TV's newest kickass cutie? Ask her yourself and get the inside BTVS scoop straight from the source. Plus, get plenty of tube dish from me on Friends, Party of Five, Felicity and more. C'mon in!

Chat Transcript

Eliza replies: I'd like to say that fame hasn't really affected me. I've always just seen myself as no better or worse than anybody else. A lot of people on the crew even say that it hasn't affected me. I have as much respect for the camera guys as I do for the actors. Also, my three brothers have kept me in check.                                               dialup asks: Eliza do you know that it's 6:00 in the morning here? I'm a pretty dedicated fan :). Anyway, has the Buffy fame affected you at all?

Eliza replies: I've got an older brother who's great. When I was ten, I went into an open call with him. And I got a part. From there it just went on. After playing Deniro's daughter the roles really opened up.
panda10650 asks: Eliza, how did you get into acting?

Eliza replies: I enjoy traveling. When you travel you can do whatever you want. At this point, we'll hop on a plane and land somewhere. Last year it was China. We didn't have much money but we just went and explored. I'm not a reader. I'm a big socializer. I just can't sit still.
jewyl asks: Besides acting what other activities do you enjoy?

Eliza replies: I have no idea. I love to travel. My mother is a government professor who teaches world and government poltiics so we've also traveled. So I'd love any kind of field that would allow me to travel one country one day and another the next.
sportyspice30 asks: If you go to college, what do you think you would major in?

Eliza replies: I'm into just about everything. Beastie Boys. I love Lenny Kravits. Lauryn Hill. Madonna. I love it all. Korn.
vaedus asks: Hey Eliza, what type of music are you into girl?

Eliza replies: It was a writer's request. I had no choice. I think it's trying to undermind her a little. It's Faith's own little edgy way of sticking it to her.
Wanda asks: What's up with calling Buffy, "B"?

Eliza replies: A lot but not a lot. I think one of the differences is I have morals. I would never hurt somebody. In common, I think that adrenaline feeling. We both have that attitude thing going. Wising off to cops, teachers, just doing your own thing. IT's a tough attitude/east coast thing.
pkard asks: Do you have something in common with Faith?

Eliza replies: David's a blast to work with. He's so funny. He's a riot. He makes everything very carefree and the sets very light when he's around. He's very cool.
ladyangelus asks: Is David Boreanaz fun to work with?

Eliza replies: No. I'm doubting they did. It was a trick so I don't think he wouldn't taken it that far. His heart believes to Buffy which, whatever...
minaelizabetha asks: Did Faith and Angel have sex???

Eliza replies: Um, not really but it's such a light air on the set. No one is insecure so anyone can harp on anyone. There's just a lot of like fun and taunting going around -- all in good humor.
crs123 asks: It seems like such a funny cast - do you play practical jokes on each other?

Eliza replies: Hmm....I'n not sure. Lately I haven't been following the rest of the show. Things are a mystery to even the cast. When they were trying to get the season finale done, a lot of things were still up in the air and I'm not even sure what the final decision was.
prophecygirl asks: Eliza, any hints on who Xander ends up with at the end of the season? -Danielle

Eliza replies: At random times, someone messes up a scene. There were a lot of people beating people up in a joking way. David was running at the camera or cracking up. He would heavy breathe a little too much. In the Bad Girls episode when we were smashing the glass, my foot got stuck and Sarah tried to help me and it was a total screw up caught on camera.
loco asks: Tell us about the gag real at the Wrap party.

Eliza replies: Yeah it was my first movie. I was ten years old. I got that part from a crazy open call in Boston. I was a tomboy up into that point. That movie kind of made me girl.
jaded32 asks: Eliza I think you are great my fav movie of yours is that Night! How old were you when you did your first movie?/

Eliza replies: When I was working on Boys LIfe, it was his first movie. And he was kind of a punk. THey used to tell him not to ride his bike around because they can't be liable. So of course one day he falls down. They have to halt filming for a week and he has this big scrape across his face. So when we resumed shooting, I walk into the makeup room and there's this scab in a ziplock bag taped to the mirror with a sign that says, "qaurter of a million dollar scab".
charizma asks: how was it working with the hot one known as LEO???

Eliza replies: I'm kind of noncturnal. I love Conan. He's the bomb. I love Howard Stern when he's being good. I'm dying to get on that show. I watch Ally McBeal. I've always loved The Simpsons. They are such a funky family.
angel25656 asks: What is your favorite show to watch?

Eliza replies: Arnold was such a goof ball. He was so much fun. When we were doing the Harrier scene, we were basically stapped together for four days shooting that scene. He was all aabout playing thumb war and sticking things up my nose. He was very fatherly. He offered to helicopter me to one of his Planet Hollywood openings. Jamie Lee and Tom Arnold were great too. I was twelve then and I think they were trying to compensate for my being the only kid on the set.
buffychic asks: was it fun to work with Arnold and Jamie Lee Curtis in True Lies?

Eliza replies: No actually, a lot of time the stakes that the actors use are rubber. They look so real. The actaul staking of the vampire is CGI - special effects.
faitheslayer asks: Eliza do u ever get hurt working with those stakes?

Eliza replies: Possibly.
faithful_avenger asks: hey Eliza could you ever go for the short blonde guys instead of tall dark and handsome? ;)

Eliza replies: I don't know. You got me.
sunny asks: Is Cordy really going to be turned into a vamp?

Eliza replies: No it wasn't a requirement. I just love to dance - those scenes were so much fun.
womanwarrior asks: Was being a swell dancer a casting requirement? (again with the funny)

Eliza replies: Yeah, I met him. He may be an awful villain but he's a sweetheart. He's just a nice guy. He's not really English which through me off.
ariellemarsters asks: Have you met James Marsters? What's he like?! Isn't he hot?

Eliza replies: David's been known to moon people. Actually so is Nick and so have I. There's a lot of mooning on the set just in general I believe.
malkavian asks: Where there anything embarrassing that happened while you were around the set? I know Alyson and Sarah pants NIck one time.

Eliza replies: I'm dying to go to the Carribean or go on some cruise but so far, my favorite place is Australia -- Bondi Beach in New South Whales, Sydney. I did a film there called Race the Sun. We shot it there and it was a cool time.
waxytadpole asks: what is your favorite vacation spot?

Eliza replies: I'm looking at some lighter comedy maybe. I'm a little over being so dark all the time. I want to do something that my grandparents and little sweet cousins can watch. I was raised Mormon so my grandmother didn't return my call for a month after the Enemies episode aired.
au_h2o asks: What would the ideal role be for you?

Eliza replies: They're different. Sometimes you prefer each. With Television, you get a max of two to five takes to get a scene down. And with working with someone like James Cameron he can take a month to get a scene. In a way it's good to work both ways and also not. I'd like to get back into film for a while I think.
pkard asks: Since you've been on teh big screen more than once...what do you prefer: TV or Cinema?

Eliza replies: In real life, I've been known to throw on some tight black leather but not on a daily basis. It's fun though. It's tacky and fun. It's better than wearing frills and flowers. It's exciting. It's dangerous.
jcbuffyfan asks: How do you like Faith's revealing wardrobe?

Eliza replies: Buffy's the better the slayer, come on now? The show is Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. Faith's less about slaying these days and more about tearing it up in other ways. We have different motives.
prophecygirl asks: In your opinion, who's the better slayer?

Eliza replies: Kind of, yeah. I love to pull it all together and do it up some nights. I'm just about normal.
kattie asks: Are you a girlie girl, you know into clothes and hair?

Eliza replies: I'm living with my brother out here and we're having such a good time. If there's a good script, I'd love to jump at it. Otherwise, I might try to get back to the east coast for a while or just hang out here.
xnderbuffy asks: what are your plans during the summer hiatus ?

Eliza replies: Keep it up. If you really want to do it, try to a point. It's really a business about luck. My brother's taken four years of acting and hasn't worked and I've never had a class in my life. It's so unreliable so don't let it eat up your life. Don'tpursue it to the point that you have nothing else in your life.
kiefer1 asks: I would like to get into acting, what do you suggest I do?

Eliza replies: Not sure, you'd have to ask the writers what their plans are. Who knows.
faithgirl asks: Eliza, can you say if there's any chance Faith will be good again?

Eliza replies: I think it's cool that teens are getting to lead films, but it depends if they're good or not. I work so much! Now I can actually get out there and see some flicks.
umr asks: what do you think of the teen movie craze?

Eliza replies: Deniro. I just saw Analyze This and I can't keep my eyes off of him. He's great. I loved Shakespeare in Love, too, and thought the whole cast in that was amazing.
gcl asks: Who is your favorite actor?

Eliza replies: Cherry Cordials because I always loved how unexpected it is to bite down and get the juice inside.
waxytadpole asks: If you were a box of chocolates what kind would you be exactly?

Eliza replies: I thought it was great. Joss and I were tearing up the dance floor. To this day there are photos of Joss and I on the internet. How can you complain about a night of adoration for the show like that?
qslexy asks: I heard you went to the PBP...what did you think of it?

Eliza replies: That's all bull, come on now. They work together and they get along great. They are like sisters. I mean, they might bicker but they get along great.
kegman asks: What of the rumors of Sarah not liking Ally??

Eliza replies: I think so. I have an easier time relating to people on the east coast. I get a little tired of the whole everyone is in the movies thing out here.
carnalstar asks: Hi Eliza ! If you decide to go to college , would you come back to one of the the East Coast schools ?

Eliza replies: No. I don't know what that means.
pbvt asks: Eliza, did you make it to Todd B.'s party the weekend after the PBP?

Eliza replies: Last time I talked to him was when he called me in Boston and he was hanging out with some friends. I said, What are you doing with yourself? And he's like, "I'm playing a retard." It was when he was doing What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Then you just lose touch.
lynsey76 asks: How did you get along with Leo in This Boy's Life? Do you keep in touch with him, or talk to him anymore?

Eliza replies: It was tough at times. Students would rag on me and so would teachers some times. I ended up going to a private school my last year of middle school and it was frustrating because I let it get to me. Leo would give me lines and comebacks to use. He wouldtell me not to let people get me down. Went I went back for high school, I loved it. I wouldn't let people do that to me. It was so much fun because of that.
lehcar51 asks: What was it like in high school when you had 6 movie credits under your belt?

Eliza replies: Maybe one of our producers, Gareth. Because he's usually the drill sargeant and he'll come down and tell people to get their ass in gear.
paxman214 asks: Who's the most serious person on the Buffy set?

Eliza replies: Some times I regret not being able to grow up normal. I was tutored a lot. So I missed a lot of school. It makes you grow up really fast. You're forced to be an adult. You're too young to be an adult yet too old to be a kid. I can't say I regret any decisions I've made but it's been a ride.
jewyl asks: Do you ever regret your decision to become an actress? Is their something that you would have rather pursued?

Eliza 4:04PM: Thanks so much for coming. I totally appreciate it. I hope you enjoy the rest of the season.
