My real name is Debbie. I'm 30 years old, and have been divorced about
four years. I live in central Vermont, and have spent most of My adult
life in hospitality and retail jobs. For pleasure I draw and write, as
well as work with cross stitch. I like quiet times, and don't enjoy
crowds or noise.
When I first learned of the Chamber, I had not yet explored BDSM. It
was a novelty, and more than a little frightening. I was curious,
though, and started exploring. Since everyone in My nilla life had
always told Me what to do, I thought I was submissive. I was sometimes
joiya and sometimes Maddad's joiya. I am grateful beyond words to
Mistress Rose for making Me welcome back then, and giving Me the chance
to learn.
It took about a year of learning and exploring, both r/t and c/t, for Me
to realize that I was not a sub at all. I overcame the forced
submission of My earlier life, and discovered that I am a Domme. I left
for a few months, sorted out My thoughts and feelings a bit, and
returned at the end of the summer of 1998 as Lady Joiya, which will
likely be My permanent Handle. Since I've recognized that in Myself, I
have learned still more, and continue to learn. I have had a few
isolated r/t experiences as a Domme, mostly but not always with women.
In c/t, I have had a share in the training of several subs. I have only
one who is Mine now. he is very sweet and is developing into an
excellent sub. he shares many of My non-BDSM interests, as well, which
helps. I am very, very pleased with martello, and look forward to
developing him, Myself, and O/our D/s relationship over a very long
time. Right now I also have just one sub in training, who I have not
formally claimed. llewlyn is a friend from My nilla life, who has
recently entered Chamber. Eager to learn, he has great potential as a
sub.
