The Journey Begins...
BlackHawk at the River Fest (Watertown,WI
)

What should have been a no frills 1.5hrs flight from Philadelphia, PA to Milwaukee, WI turned out to be anything but. There was no way that my luggage could have gotten lost on such a short jaunt right? Wrong! When I arrived at the luggage carousel Tracy and Taylor were there to greet me. Tracy circled the airport while Taylor waited with me for my suitcase to emerge onto the carousel. We waited and waited and waited somemore until all the bags from my flight had surfaced. This can't be...my bag is nowhere insight! After about an hour and my and Taylor's patience growing thin, it was ascertained that my bag had been left on the tarmac and it was eventually sent up to the carousel. By then, Heather, John, Virg and Jess had arrived at Tracy and Lori's house from Chicago and all were busy prepping for the evening.

We embarked on the first leg our journey and after finding Kayla, Sam and Denise's spots up front at the stage, we went around back to find that beautiful big black HAWK bus and Dennis casting a fishing line into a box. Kirk and Mike emerged for hellos, as did Anthony, Dave and Henry. We also met Matt, Kristina and Bull (who would be our chief security officer for the dinner/auction).

On a warm Summer evening, BlackHawked soared onto the stage....(the photos below only represent a small portion of what I shot the 4 days in Wisconsin; this is only what I've had developed so far. I still have a ton more to be processed.)The stars in the Wisconsin sky were just as incredible as those that were onstage.

Hey...where's Dave? It really is all about Henry?! He hasn't been developed yet. LOL

<-Here's Dave!!..Cigarette anyone?......Love the highlights Henry!->

Would be a cool statue don't you think?

More to come....

The guys gave an incredible performance as usual and Lori's Mom, who is just the coolest, growled at people who pushed their way to the front with us, including Khristina who...ooops is with us. LOL After the show, we went around back to say goodbye until tomorrow and get hugs and kisses. (2 kisses in one!)

Bull led the entourage until he turned off and the 'Trace' mobile took over from there until we reached Lori and Tracy's. Once there, a campfire was built and we all (Tracy, John, Matt, Tyler, Lori, Heather, Kristina, Taylor and myself) sat around singing while the guys played guitars and told stories of the wild west, riding horses and saving cowboys and at a time when men were men and it was no fun being sheep!! LOL It was way into the wee hours of the morning before we all retired to embrace the second leg of our journey. But not before Lori and I prepared some of the VIP passes she had made, until we could no longer see straight. Sometimes being cross-eyed is not a bad thing.

Next stop Kenosha!!!
