Went to see Merle Haggard at the American Music Theater and he put on a great show!!! I was surprised that at his age he performed for almost 2 hours and not only did we get his autograph once but thanks to Kenny Vernon (his lead guitarist and front man from "the strangers") we got it twice!!!!! He also performed 2 of the 3 songs I wanted to hear. 'Folsom Prison' and 'Okie from Muskogie' It was my first time seeing Merle live and going to the AMT which is a really great place to see a show! What's cool about the AMT is the tour buses park right at the back door and while they may be roped off somewhat, if you're standing at the railing the artists have to walk right passed you to get into the building. It was there that Merle signed this ticket and later Kenny took our books onto the bus.
