David Dix

Come closer Henry!

I couldn't get a shot of Monty Yoho or a good one of Randy but it was a blast!!

After the show...

Hughie and Dave

Hughie and Franko

Me, Henry and Sharon

Hughie and Me

The lights dimmed and the thunder of the bass was so loud and strong that the floor vibrated!!!! The last time I had that quivering feeling was at a show in 1998. The place erupted with the intro for (Ghost) Riders in the Sky and the guys exploded onto the stage...OMG!!!!!! Monty and David on the drums at the rear and Dave on keyboards beside them with the Guitar Army in the front was a sight to behold!!! With the first camera flash, mine came out of my purse! Before I knew it I had snapped 2 rolls and the show wasn't even over. I had left 2 more rolls in my camera bag in the car with my large camera. I kicked myself for not holding back to get the shot of the finale. Hopefully, I'll get it another time.

A couple of songs later, Henry paid homage to Billy and Frank noting where they stood, spots now occupied by Randy and Chris and he introduced each one...saying Dave from Nashville is with the country-rock group BlackHawk and the crowd yelled some more. When Chris sang Prisoner, chills went up and down my spine and the crowd roared! He did an incredible job!!! Sharon didn't think she knew So Long or Grey Ghost but when she heard them, she recognized them. The set list as previously mentioned of:

Ghost Riders
Keep Prayin'
Freeborn Man (go Henry!)
You Are The Show
So Long
Breaker Breaker
Waterhole
Knoxville Girl
Prisoner
Gunsmoke
Stick Around For Rock & Roll
Hurry Sundown(Henry said nothing like skipping ahead)
South Carolina
Grey Ghost
There Goes Another Love Song
Green Grass and High Tides

Hughie had the coolest Outlaws guitar strap on! And if the crowd was rather laid back at this show compared to the one at the Starland Ballroom the night before...it must have been WILD!!! Green Grass and High Tides lasted forever and the guys gave it all they had. The addition of Dave on the keyboards was a sincere compliment. I bow to each and every one of them. They rocked their butts off!!!!! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SHOW!!!!!!!!

This was indeed a momentous occasion and you HAVE to see this show!!!!!!!!!! I am so THRILLED AND HONORED to have seen the combination of the talent they have on that stage!!!!!!!! We were right in front of some speakers, it was loud, it was kick@$$ music and it was FAN*freakin*TASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
