Garth at Padres Spring Training

"The Man Who Dared to Dream"

Garth Brooks has done just about everything an entertainer could ask for. He is the highest selling solo artist in American Music history.

He's won 2 Grammy Awards, 11 CMA Awards, 18 ACM Awards(including Artist of the Decade!!(twice), 24 Billboard Music Awards, 5 World Artist Awards, 11 People's Choice Awards and 13 AMA Awards. He has sold 100 million albums, what more could anyone ask for... oh yeah, he also attended spring training with the San Diego Padres in 1999 and kick started the "Touch 'Em All Foundation" to raise money for children. He attended Spring Training with the Mets in 2000 to further the foundation too. What's next for Garth?? Well, stay tuned for Garth's production project, a movie called "Call Me Claus", starring Whoopi Goldberg and a movie called The Lamb. The pre-quel soundtrack called "Garth Brooks...In the Life of Chris Gaines", was released 9/28/99.(It's a Rock/Pop thing and a stupendous work of art!)The movie will be released some time later. Some people thought Garth was abandoning country music when he agreed to take on this project, but nothing could be further from the truth...Chris Gaines is a "character in a movie". Alot of the fans are praying that Garth assumes the role of Chris for the movie. He did an outstanding job with the music, so whose better suited for this role. As far as we're concerned, Garth IS Christian Gene Gaines, not Steven Tyler, not anyone else!!!!
